A beautiful house within walking distance of Barbizon village. The garden was pristine and a wonderful spot for breakfast. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen was well-equipped, and the house had lovely nooks for relaxing with a book. Helen was very responsive and the guide left at the house included all the necessary information. We hope to return.

A very beautiful family farmhouse in the countryside, in a quiet location, 15 minutes from Sens. Full of charm and very well maintained, it is a true haven of peace with family and/or friends. Plethoric and quality equipment, very large swimming pool, terrace in the shade in front of the house and overlooking the pool. Responsive and thoughtful host. Fouzia’s house has everything for a great vacation with friends or family. The villa was very clean and well maintained. We traveled with a baby and really appreciated all facilities (baby bed, sleeping bag, baby seat, washing machine, …). The garden is fantastic, we especially enjoyed the heated pool (29 degrees), big terrace and jacuzzi. We would definitely recommend staying here!

There were 5 of us and it was perfect. Everyone had their own sleeping and bathing area. The kitchen was fully equipped, the living room cozy and the terrace quiet and inviting to relax. Everything was clean. There was nothing to complain about.. We highly recommend it.

Beautiful and peaceful setting by the river. Great garden for the dogs plus kayak and paddle boards to explore the river for longer stays. Cecile accommodated an earlier check in which was very much appreciated. It's a shame we didn't have longer to explore the area.

We had a very pleasant stay (3 nights) for 7 people (5 adults and 2 teenagers) The house is large enough for 8 people, We really appreciated the 2 separate bedroom spaces on each side of the living room (we were a group of friends with a family and 3 adults). The configuration is ideal for separating 2 families, for example, Parking in the garden in front of the house is easy and spacious (we had 2 SUVs), it is an essential criterion in our research for weekends with friends, The accommodation met 100% of our criteria, I highly recommend this accommodation,

House nestled in a green setting, very quiet, well-equipped, very spacious (there were 11 of us and we didn't step on each other at all, responsive hosts, decorated with great taste, many activities possible on site. On the other hand, not very well signposted. We had to ask neighbours but it's really not a big deal. It is only for the first time and we will certainly come back.

We were greeted with great kindness by Patrick, a host who was both friendly and attentive. The cottage, truly charming, is comfortable, perfectly maintained and very well equipped. The provision of a boat, a canoe, a pedalo, a foosball table, bicycles and many other amenities adds real added value to the stay and fully contributes to the quality of the experience. We were able to enjoy our family weekend in a peaceful and pleasant setting. We sincerely thank Patrick for his hospitality and recommend this place without hesitation.

When we arrived back at the Gîte de La Gervaise from our beautiful bike trip along the Loire, it was almost like arriving home. We enjoyed the two days there in the best weather in peace. If we ever go on holiday in the region again, Gîte de La Gervaise is the first place we'll be heading to.

We can say that this cottage is a prestigious cottage, very clean, bright, furniture and appliances of very good quality, with a large wooded plot and a beautiful equipped terrace. We were delighted to spend 15 days at Anthony's, a house very close to local shops and the city of Auxerre. A small remark, for us northerners, we were missing coffee cups or mugs. A big thank you for this stay that we will repeat if health allows. F.H.
