Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Courtenay

Loved this little cottage. Prettier than pictured. Very comfortable and super efficient.

Jennifer's house was perfect for us! The house is really cozy, beautiful outdoor spaces, quiet neighborhood with a lovely view of the mountains from the back deck. We especially appreciated that the kitchen was replete with good cookware! Jennifer was was very responsive and communicated really well. I'd highly recommend her home to anybody considering a visit to this lovely part of the island

Tom was a responsive and thoughtful host. Tom’s home was perfect for our family to celebrate my daughter’s upcoming marriage. There was lots of space, the kitchen is very well stocked, the outdoor space is fantastic. Tom clearly labelled everything to make it easy to navigate, and his instruction book is thorough. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was perfect. the bungalow had everything we to be comfortable. It was tastefully decorated and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipt. We loved that no matter what we were cooking, there were enough pots, pans and utensils. we did lose hot water within the first day or so, but Jeanette answered promptly and it was fixed within a few hours. It didn't affect our stay what so ever. Jeanette is a very attentive host and very good at communicating. Thank you for a great experience at the Bushbuck Bungalow.

We absolutely loved our stay. Such a cozy place to holiday with family. We only wish the weather had been nicer so we could enjoy the deck more because the deck area is fantastic! Shelley was a fantastic co host, ensuring we had everything we needed. The studio is absolutely adorable. We will stay again.

Lauren’s house was spacious, comfortable and clean, and made a great base for a ski trip for our family of four.

liked the little extras you provided. love the fire pit infront of ocean, your place made a person with Parkinson's feel special. thankyou oh would have liked dish liquid soap for dishes. Was also nice having a dishwasher. Thank you

The location by the water is spectacular - the provided kayaks are a really nice touch (paddled every morning and saw seals, bald eagles, even saw a whale!). The suite was very bright with big windows (great views). The kitchen was well stocked with lots of room to prep meals. We slept great in the big king bed with a cozy foam mattress. The hot tub (we used it daily) and the heated bathroom floors were awesome when the weather was chilly. Donyne went above and beyond to make sure we had a good vacation (responded quickly to our questions and even gave us the heads up when Orcas were swimming past!) It’s a great place - highly recommended

The location was spectacular and the accommodations were very comfortable, clean, spacious. Off the beaten path. The views were incredible. Great amenities. Washer and dryer were out of service.

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Really nice responsive host. Very clean & modern room with a nice view. This was my second time stay at the property and I absolutely love it and will definitely be visiting again soon. The pools and other amenities are very clean and easy to find. The staff on property are very kind and helpful as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Angela’s place! We booked for two nights with our two kids, primarily for the convenience of skiing at Mount Washington and it was the perfect spot for our needs. The space, while petite, was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The hot standup shower was a treat after a long day on the slopes, and the helpful notes around the unit made it easy to navigate everything. We also really enjoyed the Nespresso machine - such a nice touch for starting our mornings! Though we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the river or outdoor surroundings this time, we’d love to come back and explore more. The access to laundry was a huge plus and Angela’s communication was excellent throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at Randy and Barb’s condo. The condo was very clean, tasteful and roomy. It was equipped with everything we needed!! The resort had many desirable amenities including exercise room, pool and a good restaurant and lounge. We communicated with Randy a few times and he was always responsive, prompt and helpful. It was very apparent that the quality of our stay was very important to Randy and Barb. We really appreciated that. We highly recommend this listing!!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Surrounded by nature and wildlife made for an absolutely stunning and relaxing stay. Whether it was having a fire by the lake, soaking in the hot tub or cozying up inside, it was all perfection! Everything was so clean and the hosts were incredibly sweet. I will 100% be back!

If I could give this place and the host 10 stars I would! Even before check in, it was a positive experience. The property and view alone is worth the price. The beds were comfortable, the host goes above and beyond making sure you have everything you need and if you need any help at all she is there. A very friendly, positive, at home feeling. My mom and I were extremely comfortable staying for our weekend trip away. The wildlife was amazing to see! We loved sitting around the fire next to the ocean. I couldn’t believe how clean the place was, stocked with fresh linens and toilet paper if needed. The heated towel rack was a neat detail. You can tell this place has had a lot of love and care put into it. Tons of places to charge whatever you may need, wood stove was wonderful in the unit. We had all the amenities and utilities needed in order to cook great meals! Even stocked nicely with spices, oils, foil, etc. This is my new fav spot and we will be back many times. Thank you so much!

Laurel's place was heavenly ! The place was very easy to find and it was everything we were hoping for!! Fenced property for our pup was great, clear instructions for everything around the house, very warm and welcoming :) Falls are walking distance, town with nice restaurants is also 5-10 min drive away. Sauna was the highlight of our stay there :) Very cozy and heartwarming place. The hosts were very proactive in answering questions for us and super nice !! Would love to go back and stay a while longer next time.

Wow! If we could give this forest oasis 10 🌟stars, we absolutely would! Every detail of the whole experience from check-in to check-out has been so intentionally and beautifully curated, creating a space that’s both luxurious and deeply comforting. Our two dogs felt instantly at home, and so did we. From the story behind the space to the cozy, modern design, this stay felt like a peaceful cabin retreat straight out of Pinterest - elegant, serene, and full of warmth. The huge windows frame the forest like living art, the fireplace adds the perfect touch of coziness, and curling up on the couch with a local Vancouver Island book felt like the definition of rest. We’re still dreaming about the crisp, filtered water (the best we’ve ever tasted - seriously!), the private fenced yard surrounded by towering trees, and evenings by the firepit, listening to the soothing sound of nearby Nymph Falls. Wonderful hidden gem, very cute cabin to relax in. The views were amazing and the property had everything to offer. I got into the hotub first thing in the morning and it was sooo peaceful. We have family there so we will BE BACK!

Absolutely lovely little gem. The A-frame was a perfect cozy place to stay. Alejandro was a great host and got me set up quickly. A cute little farm with chickens, goats and ducks! I can’t wait for my next stay!

What a lovely stay! The accomodations were very clean and well appointed, and I loved all the windows! The farm animals were delightful, the goats would greet me every time I went outside (waiting for carrots of course!). Lots of sun for most of the day, it was so nice to sit outside on the deck in the sunshine watching the animals. And the hottub was very relaxing and private. I would definitely recommend a stay here!

We loved our stay at Leah and Jay’s! It is a very cute cabin with everything you need, and Leah and Jay awesome hosts who went above and beyond. We really appreciated it :)
