Holiday rentals with beach access in Costa Rica

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

Our family of four had a great weekend at Andrea's place. The view from the 17th Floor was amazing. We had three great sunsets. From the balcony we could watch the scarlet macaws soaring from the mountains down to the beach. The Playa Esmeralda beach club was about a 5 minute walk from the apartment. It has direct beach access to Playa Manta. Our kids played all day on the beach and in the pools. We highly recommend and would return again.

Beautiful place and amazing staff. Pool was so refreshing and always spotless. Staff were very attentive and willing to please. Amazing location and an easy walk to the beach and delicious local restaurants. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be revisiting soon.

This place was a little piece of heaven. The location, the amenities, the attention to detail, the TACOS - impeccable. Best side of Jaco Beach and Gracias Madre is right on it, just walk out the gate and there you are. Yet because the apartments are recessed a bit, the rooms felt private and secluded. The little pool is lovely, as are the design-forward references to dia de los muertos that permeate the decor. The apartment is one I'd live in (and I really wish I could have stayed longer), had absolutely everything you'd need and want, including complementary little items like chocolate covered dried banana in the cupboard, sunscreen and beach mats by the door, usb chargers and Bluetooth speakers on the bedside tables. The appliances are all top notch as are the cookware and glassware. The A/C from the mini split was reliably refreshing and the bed was perfect. But maybe the best part was the TACOS served at the attached restaurant - ate three different kinds and loved them all.

Best anniversary celeb ever! Lee was such an amazing hostess. Took care of all of our needs and requests including helping us book a quad at an excellent rate. So much to do and more then end the day at the villa with a spectacular view. You won’t be disappointed!

Great spot, central location, host provided great communication and recommendations

Molly is super helpful and responsive to all questions. Her husband is just awesome! He helped as all the time and showed us a lot of things that we aren't common with (e.g. how to get a coconut and open it the Caribbean way). The apartment was as described. It is not a pure luxury apartment but absolutely great for the price. There is a water purification machine that gives you instantly cold or hot water. And the best thing is just the place itself. Listening to the waves when you go to bed or wake up is just another level. Thank you and 100% recommend.

Wir sind begeistert und können es nicht erwarten an diesen wunderschönen Ort zurückzukehren! Das Haus ist ein Traum und man fühlt sich der Natur so nahe. Es liegt perfekt eingebettet in einem wunderschön gepflegten Garten und nur wenige Meter von dem traumhaften Strand Punta Uva entfernt. Wir wurden von unseren Gastgebern überaus herzlich empfangen und haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Jerome hat uns vor Ort mit dem Haus vertraut gemacht und uns super wertvolle Tipps für den Aufenthalt gegeben. Auch in einer schwierigen Situation, stand er uns beispiellos hilfsbereit zur Seite. Er ist einfach nur großartig und wir sind ihm überaus dankbar für alles. Wer die Liebe zur Natur teilt und sich nach Tiefenentspannung sehnt, einfach mal abschalten oder sich inspirieren lassen möchte, ist hier genau an der richtigen Adresse. Dieser Ort besticht mit seinen guten Vibes und hat uns nachhaltig beeindruckt. Wir freuen uns schon riesig auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt dort!

Due to an unfortunate issue with our original place to stay, we had to make a last minute pivot. We were so grateful to have found Richard’s place and his incredible hospitality. This place is toward the north part of the town, so it felt much less crowded and it was particularly quiet at night. All we heard were the waves and an occasional lizard on the roof! 😂 We cooked most of our meals at the property, and the kitchen setup worked great. The instant beach access was amazing, and the ability to come back and relax in the hammocks and at the table/couch area in the shade was also a giant perk. Maria cleaned the place each day, which was also a bonus and an example of their wonderful care. It’s located beside a cafe, which does mean more people nearby at times, but it also means quick access to food/drink. Aside from the first evening when a DJ was playing at the cafe (Sunday funday!), it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy a beautiful location. Many thanks!

Our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 kids) really enjoyed our stay! The house itself was very nice (white noise might be needed because of the roosters). The easy accessibility to the beach when we wanted to go there while also having an amazing pool and covered patio to relax throughout the day was perfect for what we were looking for. We enjoyed the quiet and local feel of Brasilito Beach. The campground is right there, like others have mentioned, but it was never an issue at all. We walked to Playa Conchal (liked our beach better) and checked out Playa Flamingo for a sunset one night. Vidal lives on property and was always a friendly face. Overall, it was a wonderful stay!

Casa Move was everything we hoped for. Our family arrived and had an easy check in with a quick home tour provided by Wil. The home is less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and to a little corner bodega/cafe. The home was well appointed with all we needed for a comfortable stay. The fellas made friends with the owner of Carton Surf Shop next door and spent their days surfing. We walked the trail nearby and saw monkeys, an anteater and tons of birds. We ended our hike with a stop at the Puddlefish Brewery across the street. It is about a 5-8 minute drive to town and we visited a few times. All in all a wonderful , safe location and a lovely home. Highly recommend!!

Alojamiento en un punto sin igual, en una de las mejores playas de Costa Rica. Lugar tranquilo, con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia amena. La atención y la ayuda de Simone, excelente! Sin duda volveremos...!

We absolutely loved staying at Johnny's place! After the first quiet, comfortable night as we lingered over coffee on the patio watching the hummingbirds, we decided to change our plans and stay a little longer. The house is beautiful and has everything you could need provided. We especially loved all the outdoor space and spending evenings watching birds with drinks on the rooftop (we saw Yellow Throated Toucans and Montezuma Oropendola right from the deck!). The beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. 15/10 we'll be back!

The place is charming, very clean and tidy, and the smell of wood is pleasant. Very comfortable and beautiful. The view is spectacular. A very safe and lovely place, with many trails, a golf course, and a beach club with a pool, restaurant, and spa. The apartment has a washing machine and a very well-equipped kitchen. The beds are king-size and very comfortable. The shower in the master bathroom only has hot water, so if you want cold or cool water, you'll need to use the second bathroom. The beach is far from the apartment, but the walk to the beach club is worth it. Chris always responded to our questions and was very kind and approachable. We really liked it and will definitely return.

Loved our time at this beautiful spot! The view onto the beach and watching sunsets from the deck was stunning. Very comfortable accommodation, spacious and clean. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Great all around.

Muy buena atención x por parte del anfitrión. Muchos utensilios de cocina, y ofrece suministros y regalías que en otros hospedajes donde me he alojado no lo dan. Aseo impecable, y el lugar muy tranquilo, muy cerca del centro de tamarindo.

This condo is in an excellent location, close to the main road but still quiet. Small grocery store located right across the street and many great coffee shops and restaurants all within a short walk. The condo itself is quite nice as well, perfect for 2 people. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics needed for cooking.

Primero que todo felicitar a Mary por la excelente atención y trato respetuoso que nos brindó en todo momento, el lugar es realmente hermoso y cerca de restaurantes y supermercados. El acceso a la playa es de 5 minutos caminado, solo cruzar una calle y estás disfrutando de los mejores atardeceres. El lugar es impecable y está provisto con todo lo necesario para una estadía placentera. Sin duda volveríamos a visitarlo!!

Great stay at Andres’s place in Reserva Conchal! The condo has beautiful views, and was well stocked and clean. The pool for the condo complex was perfect for our toddler, and we loved having access to the Beach Club. We would definitely stay here again!
