Beautiful cottage in a great location and so quiet and relaxing, the only noise coming from the abundance of wild life. It is also a good base for walks or just exploring the beautiful Deeside area with so much to see and do.

Six middle aged women away for a peaceful weekend which we most definitely managed at Woodside Cottage. Beautiful surrounding countryside which included sightings of red squirrels plus lots of different bird life. Woodside Cottage is just as Ewan describes, pristine kitchen, seating areas, bedrooms & bathrooms. There are coombed ceilings in the upstairs bedrooms but we knew this when we booked. We had a couple of bumped heads moments, nothing drastic & we had a laugh about it. We didn’t use the fireplace as we didn’t need to but this would be a welcome feature in colder weather. The water supply is from a private source but we encountered no problems with showering etc as a slightly bigger group. As a host, Ewan checked we had arrived safely & his responses were promt & friendly. Overall, a fabulous weekend away with all we required at our fingertips. I would absolutely recommend Woodside Cottage, thank you Ewan, six 50 something year olds had a thoroughly enjoyable time.
