Location was perfect in the bay at the end of Loon Lake. Fun to use the dock and canoe and firepit in the evening. Easy to find but helpful if you have a 4x4 truck to get back there and in and out of the driveway. Great hikes close by home. The Border Route Trail is just down the road a quick 5 min walk from the home and a wonderful hiking experience. We had a great Trail experience complete with loons and moose. Perfect for 2-4 people. The host is friendly and accommodating. This was a great spot.

It was a nice stay in this place with friends and families. The place is quiet, peaceful with a beautiful lake view. We stayed for one night; cooking for dinner was convenient, all the beds were clean and comfy.

We had a wonderful girls' weekend! Beautiful views, fireplace, relaxing spaces, comfy beds, all the amenities one would need, including makeup remover & phone chargers next to the lamps, was a nice touch! Hot tub and pool were wonderful! Great recommendations for places to go around Tofte, Lusten & Grand Marais! Thank you for being amazing hosts! It was definitely a home away from home!

This was the best AirBNB experience we’ve ever had! The unit is pristine and you can’t beat this view of Lake Superior. The wood burning fireplace also makes it very cozy. We had a few minor issues and Jeremiah was incredibly responsive. The building is a little dated, don’t get your hopes up on the amenities, but the unit itself is wonderful. This was my husband’s first time to the North Shore, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We cannot wait to come back. We had an incredible stay with Jill!! The space had everything we could need and was perfect! We ended up using the fireplace on a cold night and it made for such a romantic and cozy ambiance. I loved that the bed was high enough to be able to see the waters of superior while lying down and it was dark enough to see the stars through the window at night. Jill responded right away to our questions and was very accommodating and polite. 10/10 we would absolutely stay here again ! Thank you very much!!

I've stayed at Croftville Road Cottages twice now and it has been great! The location and amenities are perfect for a North Shore getaway - close to Grand Marais and tons of hiking and nature. The hosts were quick and easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be back!

What a beautiful place to stay, very peaceful and right on the water. The unit itself was really great for two people, very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor seating areas as well, very relaxing! Mike and Teresa were very friendly and have created a beautiful home.

Spacious, comfortable for our group of 5 except for the too short twin beds. Kitchen area perfect.
