Holiday rentals with beach access in Cook County

Stayed here for Valentine’s Day weekend and it was beautiful and perfect! So clean and so cozy and loved having the whirlpool tub as well! The views are also amazing! Thank you for a spectacular weekend!

The house was beautiful and was uniquely located on Lake Superior and close to the town of Grand Marias. We had a small family reunion and the home offered the ability to be close and build bonds but at the same time there was ample space for privacy. It was a perfect location for us and the reunion was successful!

We thoroughly enjoyed this property and the area for the weekend we stayed. Ashley was delightful, helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommend and thank you for everything!

Rachel’s place is just a few minutes outside of Grand Marais. The location made it easy to explore Grand Portage, Grand Marais, and the Gunflint Trail. We loved the peace and natural environment surrounding the rental. Plus that view of the Big Lake! Inside the rental were all the amenities we would likely ever need! The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies (pots, pans, coffee maker, etc). The living spaces had comfy furniture and streaming devices. We found the largest bedroom to have a comfy bed and great view. Wonderful stay!

Three of us had a wonderful wintery stay in early February. The house was great--cozy and comfortable with an incredibly well stocked kitchen and an epic bathtub! We took advantage of the gorgeous private sauna every single day and even had a bonfire one night at dust. The proximity to Lake Superior is another plus--as soon as you step outside the house you can hear the waves from the shore! Deidra was a wonderful host. She provided so many recommendations for the North Shore and even offered an early check in since the house was not occupied the night before our arrival. The snacks, welcome note and local gifts (wine, cider, maple syrup and pancake mix) made us feel welcome and appreciated. We hope to stay again in the summer when we can spend even more time outside enjoying the lake.

If you love snowmobiling and are always on the lookout for fresh trails, let me put Hovland, MN, on your radar. I recently spent a weekend there with a few friends, and it was hands down one of the best riding trips I’ve had. Our Airbnb turned out to be the perfect home base, and the snowmobiling in the area? Absolutely top-notch. One thing to note—you’ll need to trailer into either Grand Marais or Grand Portage to hit the trails. While that might sound like an extra step, it’s actually a huge advantage. Both spots serve as prime trailheads, giving you direct access to an extensive network of well-groomed trails. Plus, they offer gas, restaurants, and plenty of parking, making it super convenient. And since Hovland is equidistant from both, it's less than a 20-minute drive in either direction, so you can switch things up depending on the day. Carrie's home on Lake Superior is stunning, from a location standpoint, the amenities, the space, and most of all its view of the lake. We had panoramic views of the lake, with windows all along the walls facing the lake. We had privacy yet we were close to groceries, restaurants, etc. Furnishings in the home were great: comfortable beds, great furniture set-up in the living area, really complete cookware, dishes, and silverware in the kitchen, and the home office with a desk was great for working from there. Our family group had a wonderful time and would definitely like to return sometime soon. Carrie was a great host too. She was quick with responses to questions and was very helpful. We appreciated her efficiency and kindness!

We had a wonderful stay. The end unit is great for a beautiful view! The location is amazing to Ski in/Ski out! Very cozy with the fireplace. Love the large deck. Jesse and Dean were very helpful and quick to respond with my questions. Thank you for allowing my furry kids to join us!! It was really fun!!!!

The property was beautiful and well-maintained, offering numerous amenities and a superb location with easy access to state parks and trail systems. The furnishings were cozy and clean. Excellent value and this one stands out as an exceptional rental among the many options along the North Shore. We would gladly stay here again!

The Condo had all the comforts a person needs, with an amazing view and trails that lead to Lake Superior. The kitchen is spacious with all the cookery needed to make wonderful meals. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of towels. We had such a enjoyable stay it was hard to leave.

This is the perfect place to stay if taking a class at North House or exploring Grand Marais. The location is perfect, and the place is cozy. I’d love to stay here again.

I've stayed at Croftville Road Cottages twice now and it has been great! The location and amenities are perfect for a North Shore getaway - close to Grand Marais and tons of hiking and nature. The hosts were quick and easy to communicate with. I'll definitely be back!
