Rural Dorset Retreat

SandraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Couldn't begin to do justice here with how stunning the house and location are. The accessible bedroom and bathroom are the best we've ever had for my husband's complex needs (he has MND and is in a wheelchair). Victoria is very kind and responsive, a superb host. We were left a really great welcome pack, too! Would love to return.

Dorset Farmhouse

LeonieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a brilliant stay over Easter. The house is set up so well with everything you need for your stay. The owners were really helpful and friendly and there is a book with information about the farm, the house and everything available. Our kids loved seeing all the animals and being able to feed the goats. It was such a comfortable place to stay with kids (high chair, potty and travel cot all available). And such a peaceful setting. Highly recommend to anyone and we’ll hopefully be back!

Stables Cottage, Bride Valley

I have mobility issues and the property is well adapted for my needs especially the bathroom having many aids. It is slightly old fashioned but for us was totally in keeping with the beautiful rural setting. Despite its situation, it seemed perfect for visiting all the places we wanted to see in Dorset. David and Jane made us very welcome and we know they would have responded quickly if we had any issues. For us it was the perfect hideaway.

Ingellini hut

Wow! An amazing place to stay, especially if you need to escape for a while, settle down and have some peaceful time. Emily was the perfect host, warm and friendly and there to help you enjoy your visit (with the help of Lemmy the dog). The hut had everything I needed, was clean and cosy and the toilet facilities were good with a lovely hot shower. I walked around a bit - to the top of Eggardon Hill which is worth the effort and to The Spyway Inn which is a nice pub. Mostly I spent my time in my own secluded woodland glade, just looking at the trees and the wonderful view and listening to the bird song (there's a blackbird who got aggie at the sound of my electric toothbrush). Loved every minute. Thanks Emily.

Cosy, dog friendly cottage in the heart of Dorset

DavidRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Fantastic cottage with everything you could want inside When we arrived there were all the essential for us milk, tea, coffee and even biscuits Nice hot shower and plenty of towels for our use and Shelley contacted us to see if we needed any clean ones for the second week Garden was amazing for the dogs and for evenings to sit and relax in or outside the summer house The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area with its sofa to sit with the back door open later in the evening was lovely Just down the road left out of the cottage was a dairy farmer with a vending machine for fresh milk and milk shakes and ice cream made from organic milk produced on the farm, there are two bottles in the cupboard at the cottage so take them with you and press small when prompted and enjoy a refreshing drink Shelley was a great host, nothing was too much trouble and always a quick and helpful reply
