Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Commes

The place was great and Thierry was extremely responsive. We had asked him for a small favour since we wanted to leave our bags somewhere safe and Thierry wholeheartedly let us check in early.

We had a great stay at Vincent’s place. He met us there and was very friendly, showed us around and provided good local recommendations. We really liked the galette restaurant opposite the Tapestry. Thanks Vincent! It really is the perfect location to explore Bayeux and the main centre and the Tapestry are 5 minutes walk away, although the Tapestry shuts in September for renovation work. We will come again and do some cycling next time, it really is that nice a place to stay.

Beyond the description and photos, the accommodation surprises with high-quality details, differentiating decoration, a sublime panorama and a prime location for discovering the region. It was difficult to leave the place and we wanted to extend our stay. I can't wait to do it again!

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

Highly recommend this apartment for a stay in a lovely and quaint town on the beach. The apartment was clean, had lovely decorations and amenities, and the view out the window made us want to stay in and cancel all of our plans to tour the surrounding areas! The hosts were very easy to communicate with and had helpful suggestions to make our stay even better.

To pass a.moment for two, quiet with all the charms of Deauville nearby. The apartment fully equipped. Very well arranged, and ABOVE ALL the views are magnificent without any vis-à-vis. Anthony is a really good host! He always responded quickly to my questions, both before and during the trip. The apartment was ideally located, within walking distance of many attractions and restaurants. Everything was very clean and well-equipped!

The cottage is magical and cozy, we especially appreciated the various seating options in the garden. The kitchen is well equipped. We had everything we needed. We recommend it, thank you!

Small, very charming house, renovated with great taste, with its small private garden. Very quiet neighborhood. Location for the car but otherwise space to park. Very good bedding, there is absolutely nothing missing in the house to have a very good stay. 10 minutes' walk from the small port, ideal for a small aperitif in the evening, with shops and restaurants. People are welcoming and friendly. A Super U 5 minutes away by car, great for shopping. Very well located for visiting the landing beaches, close to Bayeux and Caen, 1 hour 20 minutes from Mont Saint-Michel. Julien gave us very good advice for things not to miss in the area, thank you. Without knowing it, we arrived during the weekend of Pentecost, when the 81st anniversary of the landing was taking place in all the villages. All these people dressed as Allied soldiers, the girls dressed in period costume, parades of jeeps, motorcycles and tanks, things that we will never see again. Our stay was great.

Great place for our group of 2 families with 10 people total. The home was well-equipped and we had a very nice stay.

We had a lovely 3 night stay there. Carine was responsive and friendly, checking in on use from time to time. We were able to check in earlier. The place is convenient, walkable to all that central Bayeux has to offer. Clean, comfortable place. The beds were the comfortable we had in our 31 days across Europe. Would definitely come back.

We had a great weekend in Nicolas' cottage! The house is really spacious and very pleasant to live in. Nicolas came to welcome us and show us around the house. We really appreciated the little attention to our dog (bowl available and suggestion of walks!). We slept very well, in the quiet of the countryside. Thank you Nicolas for the kindness of his welcome!

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!
