Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Cockenzie and Port Seton

I recently had a wonderful stay at Gary's house and wanted to share my experience. The place was impeccably clean and tidy, making it a comfortable retreat. I appreciated how well-equipped it was, with everything I needed readily available. Additionally, having parking available was a significant bonus. I will definitely look to stay here again during my next visit to Edinburgh! Highly recommended!

A home away from home ❤️ The house was lovely, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. I was travelling with parents and a small child - so split levels meant everyone could have their own space and a big communal area on the ground floor which was perfect for us all. Location was great. A short cab ride into town, but walkable too. Close by to Arthur’s Seat, which is a must to do while in Edinburgh. Karen and Carina are amazing hosts, very responsive and went above and beyond for us. Would highly recommend! Thank you.

The place is absolutely gorgeous and has stunning views of the ocean. the area doesn't have many restaurants and public transportation is not convenient in case you plan on commuting to Edinburgh city center however the cozy interiors make up for this. goodies, snacks, and basic pantry items were provided as well as nearby restaurant pamphlets which made the stay comfortable. Allison was very helpful with providing information about the location and helping out with any problems we had. keep in mind that taxis and Ubers are slightly difficult to order because not many drivers are willing to come to the location. All things considered, it's a great place to stay for a vacation and the stunning views and beaches make up for the transportation inconveniences :)

Melissa was a friendly, helpful and very responsive host. The house was exactly want we wanted and expected. The place was also spotless. The rooms were all good sizes and the bathroom was modern and had a really nice shower (with a bath for the kids) l. The location was great for our little family that wanted space in the evenings but happy to travel a bit to get into Edinburgh, we found the short drive to Kirkcaldy where we could park at the station and get a train directly into central Edinburgh worked perfectly for us. Or you could use as a base for driving to different parts of Scotland. I wish we had time to look at the local area some more as it's near a coastal path. I would definitely come again and recommend to others.

The cottage was beautifully and thoughtfully presented. Living, dining and sleeping spaces were large, wonderfully furnished and comfortable. Appliances were spotless and of high quality. A welcome package of milk, fresh orange juice, eggs, bread, butter and bottled water was left. Georgina was the perfect host, responding quickly to questions or queries and checking in with us on the second day of our visit to make sure that we were settled. Georgina’s eye for interior design was evident. For people travelling with dogs it should be noted, (that as mentioned in the property listing), the outside space is limited to a paved courtyard, probably not secure for smaller dogs. The property manual does provide details of how to reach walks by foot. We didn’t try either of these despite the short distance we would have had to walk on the road to reach them. We travelled expecting to drive to wooded areas to walk our boys. I’m sure we’ll be back! Thank you 😊

Liz is a fantastic host. Helpful, friendly and her place is spotless. Great location if attending an event at Broxmouth Courtyard as it’s just a 5 minute drive. Liz had left so many amenities in the cottage which was so helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Izzy's home is a lovely retreat. It is in a very quiet location, convenient for everything and within walking distance of a Morrisons Superstore. A few minutes drive from the railway station with free parking and with frequent services into the centre of Edinburgh. It has everything you need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The internet is reliable and very fast. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly stay there again.

The home was perfect for our golf holiday. Charming home and unique. Had everything we needed. Antonia was a great host, very responsive. I would stay with Antonia again. A+++++

Outstanding option if visiting Edinburgh. Perfect in every way. Quiet street. Close and walkable to everything. Vianney was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

We immediately felt at home at Kevin's place. We love the Edwardian style. The flat is very well equipped, we had everything we needed. It was lovely to open the back door to the garden and watch the pigeon that's nesting in the tree close to the house.

Ann’s place was just what we needed for our two night stay in Edinburgh. The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of all the major attractions , with a stunning view of the castle. The amenities provided allowed for a comfortable stay.

Ash was a fantastic host. Very friendly and gave fantastic recommendations! Situated closely to Uphall’s co-op, butchery and gas station, the Thorns Annexe was a lovely stay. An easy bus into Edinburgh, this place was also exceptional for walks. I highly recommend and will be back in the future!

Had a great stay at jak and kerris beach house. Perfect location as we was doing tough mudder. Its a nice quiet neighbourhood and beautiful views of the bridges. Their communication was 1st class and will definitely stay again. Thanks jak and kerri. 😊

Thanks you for a fabulous holiday. North Berwick is an absolute gem and the flat is so well situated to enjoy everything there is to offer. Right across from the beach, the kids were thrilled! The flat was lovely and we had a very comfortable stay. The views from the living room window were stunning and I could have sat there for hours. The flat has everything you would need and lots of thoughtful extras. We were very sad to leave and will certainly miss that view! Thank you for helping us to have a much needed relaxing break in such stunning surroundings x

Steven was a great host during my stay in Edinburgh. His place was great, the neighborhood is quiet and only a 15 minute walk from the the Royal Mile. Highly recommend if you're coming to Edinburgh.

Lorne’s place was stunning! We were greeted by a colleague who was so friendly and helpful. The place was perfect for 2 people. It was clean, well decorated and stocked with treats for us. We felt right at home. The location was very walkable to a fun neighborhood and about a 15-20 minute walk to the major sights. We couldn’t ask for a better stay in Edinburgh!

I highly recommend Anke-Beate's flat. We would definitely return. The location is ideal to get around Edinburgh, it is spacious and even better than the photos. Everything was clean, and the added touches were very much appreciated. The flat is fully kitted out with everything needed. Communication was great. Thank you for a great stay!

As a Fifer, it’s always nice to come back and stay. Craigs place was easy to find, spacious and spotlessly clean, and Burntisland is a lovely town. I would certainly stay at Craigs again.

Wonderful place, so peaceful and fantastic large garden to wander in. Great hosts who were lovely and helpful. Lots of thoughtful touches in the flat that made it really welcoming and special.

We spent two nights at The Butler's Basement for my husband's birthday and it was an ideal base. We did have an issue getting in as the lockbox didn't work, but her son came down and resolved the issue. The apartment was very clean and in a great area - some lovely bars and restaurants that we preferred to spend time in, more than the busier side of Edinburgh. Gemma was very responsive to my messages and we also had a bottle of fizz in the fridge as well as some short bread and chocolate. It might be an idea to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge, as we did have tea and coffee provided but didn't want to buy a whole pint of milk to make a couple of drinks. However it certainly wasn't an issue that would stop us staying again!

It was really something special to stay at Kinghorn Town Hall. The accommodation is just as beautiful as in the photos and even after a few days just as impressive as at the beginning. Kinghorn is a cute little town, right by the sea and with a few stores and a delicious bagel café. We found it a great base for exploring the surrounding countryside as well as going to Edinburgh (also good access by train). We would love to come back someday.

We love coming to Angela’s place! So serene and the view is gorgeous. I love that it’s a little bit of peaceful heaven but close to downtown. We brought our guests from America this time and they loved it too!

We had 5 days in this beautiful city and we were lucky enough to stay in this beautiful apartment on the water. The view was amazing. Beds super comfortable with crisp comfy linens. Great hot water and roomy bathrooms. I would stay here again in a heart beat... we were a little sad to leave. 10/10
