Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

The Nest at Backwell

Situated in Backwell near Bristol and 3 miles from the airport, the Nest is a bright, relaxing and peaceful space. Two great pubs, cafes, takeaways and a few shops are within a short walk. Excellent transport links from the Nest to Bristol via train and bus and the airport is only a 10 minute drive away. The Space King size bed in open plan bedroom/sitting room with small double sofa bed. Large ensuite. Fridge. Access to shared garden. Guest access Private access separate to main house.

The property enjoys excellent transport links (bus stop 1 min walk, train station 10 min walk, Bristol Airport 10 min drive) whilst backing onto beautiful countryside and a great view - you can hop straight into the fields! The Annexe is connected to the main house, so respectful guests are welcomed :) Backwell is a great village on the outskirts of Bristol, with pubs/restaurants all in easy walking distance.

We could have created two or even three bedrooms from this space but decided less was more.

At the end of a long private drive with off-street parking & next to woods, the only noise you'll hear is the birds in the morning! Listing is for 3 people but we only accept 2 adults maximum plus 1 (or 2) young children.
