Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clay Township

Clean and comfortable! Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Plenty of space to accommodate 3 travelers, house was the same as in the pictures. Would stay again!

It is so calming to be near water and that is just what we wanted - a place to unwind. The view is exactly like the pictures. We appreciated that Henry and April responded quickly and were very attentive.

This place is a gem 💎 if you are looking for a peaceful place to unwind and enjoy, this is the place for you! Right on the river, you can easily sit on the dock all day and enjoy the sun or explore the restaurant and wineries nearby. We have already said we can’t wait to come back!

Neil was a great host. Even with the confusion at check in (fault of my own) he was extremely understanding and proactive. The home was beautiful and the view was even better!! Clean, comfy and had just about everything you need. Short drive to stores and restaurants, the only thing I’d say is if you renting in the colder months, bring warm pjs and socks. The girls were cold and the guys were not lol Overall, 5 star experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. The road to get in could have been a little better but it wasn’t that big of a deal. The only problem we had was the weather and there’s nothing you can do about that. We will definitely come back.

Man the house is great! View is awesome! Exactly as advertised, plenty comfortable for a work crew, all the bathrooms, it was great, wish I had more work this way! Haha Host was also super accommodating, definitely recommend!

Our 2nd stay at Troy’s!!! More trips coming also this summer! As I stated before, super lake front home- just perfect! Safe, restaurant within walking distance! Plenty of room for truck and boat! Close to numerous boat launches! The home is just perfect decor and waking up with the sun/lake in your face makes this home a huge bargain! Also can dock quickly can grab some lunch or anything you forgot on boat! Thanks Again Holly & some fisherman from Ohio

Nick is a great host. We had a crazy late check in, and he didn’t sign off until he knew we were squared away (2:00 am). The location is nice and close to everything you want to do in downtown, but kinda tucked away and quiet. We would definitely stay at Nick’s again.

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

Kyle was an absolute delight as a host! His place was exactly as the photos depicted. It was spotless, spacious, and had a lovely balcony. Plus, it’s in a quiet neighborhood. You can’t beat this unit! Thanks a million, Kyle! Oh, and just a heads up, the unit is on the 2nd floor and has platform beds (which are a bit lower than usual).

The place was fantastic. Her directions with pictures made it really easy to find. Check-in was super easy. The place was extremely clean and well stocked. And very quiet. She was extremely responsive. Check out was a breeze. Didn’t make the guest do tons of cleaning. Can’t wait to stay there again soon. was absolutely perfect.

Stayed for a night and caught a show at royal oaks theater. I couldn’t not recommend this spot more. A few bucks more than a hotel room but so worth it. Insanely close to so many things, great spots to eat and drink, a market next door, quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable and private inside, cool basement vibes.

Karen was incredible. It was the perfect place to stay. She was beyond accommodating and it is an adorable room with kitchen and bathroom. She went above and beyond to ensure I was taken care of. I highly recommend and will always stay here in the future!

Awesome spot in a very walkable neighborhood. The building is quite old but the space was very clean and comfortable. The AC was nice and cold, the shower had great water pressure, and the bathroom had plenty of towels and extra shower supplies. I will definitely stay here again.

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement! The cottage is so much larger and even more comfy than I anticipated! The space has two eating areas inside, as well as a large picnic table, Tiki Hut, expansive dock, and fire pit right outside your door. The space was very clean and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. There are so many interesting books, games, and treasures to explore, such a unique space is hard to capture in photographs, but I think that is part of the magic. Coffee and tea on the dock in the morning was very peaceful and we have incredible memories of watching the many species of birds nesting in a protected migratory area right on the banks of the river just before sunset. We eat the freshest corn we have ever tasted, gifted to us by Maryann as well as many other small gifts that made the stay so chill and comfortable. Maryann and Brad are super friendly but also very respectful of your privacy. The perfect hosts and really good people.

OMG, we found Abdel’s home to feel like our own! The attention to detail all over the place makes it feel very cozy and warm. Everything was clean, the beds were super comfortable, and the jacuzzi was powerful. We just wish we could stay longer because there are so many things that we loved: the theater, the BBQ, the fireplace, the chimney, the jacuzzi, the table with a fire place, and even the towel warmer. It was the best time there!
