What a cute property! The space was squeaky clean. We traveled with another couple, each had own bedroom and bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. I missed that it was on the third floor, all stairs. It is a quiet building and neighborhood. We were minutes from downtown, but a couple blocks from a pub in any direction. Host has thorough instructions and responded timely. I would definitely stay here again.

This place was amazing. Check in was amazing, and the house was extremely clean. The host was had various amenities available for use use upon arrival, including cold water in the fridge, coffee, snacks, and even some toiletries. It was also in a great location within walking distance to downtown Royal Oak. The only clarification I would add is that the there is only one full bath. The other is a half bath. I would definitely stay there again.

I spent almost one month at Shawn's listing. St. Clair is a lovely town, easily walkable from this location. My favorite moments were hearing the "horns" from the freighters and seeing them pass by. There is a wonderful deck that overlooks the river, high on the hill. The one drawback was a home that was below the deck, on the water front, which did impact seeing the freighters "all at once" - but spectacular none the less. As of now I have rented an apartment for a month next summer in Shawn's building. The building itself, the red brick, hardwood floors and more, adds to why this was such an enjoyable place to be. If you enjoy live theater you will be thrilled with the performances/plays at both the St. Clair and Marine City live theater locales.

Kevin & Bree were great hosts - super kind and very helpful with lots of local recommendations. They were very flexible with times as well and we really appreciated that. They’re a 10 minute drive from downtown so the location is good if you don’t want to be directly in downtown. Definitely recommend staying with them :)

We needed to come in on short notice and Sam was more than accommodating. Our questions were answered promptly and the house was just as it was described. We loved the location and the pretty little yard. The house had everything we could want, was convenient to downtown Royal Oak, and we would definitely stay again.

Top Notch host great home!

Thank you so much for the wonderful place! We were in town for my Dad’s celebration of life. We were able to fit our entire family of 12 - 8 adults and 4 kids very comfortably. What was more amazing was that there were enough towels, dishes etc for everyone. You do not see that at all AirBnb places. We lacked for nothing! While it seemed pricey at first..the value compared to hotel rooms for 3 nights for 12 plus the added values of a kitchen and outdoor space made it perfect! Thanks to our wonderful hosts who responded immediately to emails or text! Just a wonderful experience!!!

We loved this place. Perfect location for fishing the Detroit River. Kal is an amazing host. We had everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again.

House is located in a quiet neighborhood, lots of space, adequate parking and had all the amenities we needed! Host is very responsive and helpful. We had a great stay and will book again for future stays!

The house was modern with good appliances and very clean. A great place as a home base to work out of town. Eli was great to deal with. Would recommend highly!

I booked the space for relatives who were coming into town from the east coast for my mother's funeral. They were delighted with the place and said everything was great. I was preoccupied with family and making funeral arrangements, but as very discerning east coasters they only had great things to say about Alicia's space so I think that speaks for itself! We have another family gathering coming up during the summer and they said that Alicia's place would be a definite "Yes" for summer accommodations. They had not one negative thing to say.

I loved staying here. The house is super cozy and feels like a classic Michigan home, not a generic modernized listing. We slept well here and the shower was very nice. I also loved how close it was to charming downtown Wyandotte, which is worth walking around if you've never been there. I felt right at home and would recommend this to anyone looking for a very comfortable place to stay.

This is easily one of the best airbnbs I have ever stayed in! The place was beautiful, had all listed amenities, and was in a great location. Has views of the river and is close to several great downtown Sarnia restaurants. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Sarnia!

Perfect place for a girls weekend! So close to tons of great restaurants and professional sports complexes. Parking was only a tiny bit tricky because half the street was blocked off for construction and there were pistons games and/or concerts in the area both nights we were there so pickins were slim on our block, but lots of availability not too far away! The building is old and beautiful, the residents (and their dogs) were so friendly, and the area is really coming back to life! We would definitely stay here again—especially if we had tickets to a game!

Alejandro made the entire process go as smoothly as it could. He quickly accepted our reservation request and gave clear instructions on parking and access to the building. He followed up once or twice throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well but did not spam and allowed us to enjoy our time at this home. Overall, we would stay again!

Great stay. Everything was exactly as described in the listing & the communication / correspondence was thorough & prompt. A fellow artist & myself were staying in town for the week to paint murals at a new & restaurant opening up & it was exactly what we needed. An oasis of rest & relaxation! Highly recommend if anyone needs a place to stay in the area.
