We had a wonderful stay at this home in Clayton, GA while in town for a wedding with another family. The house had everything we needed—super clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made meals easy, and the whole place had such a welcoming, cozy feel. The location was perfect—just a short walk into town, which is absolutely adorable. We happened to be there during a local festival, and it was such a treat to see the community in action. Lots of local pride and charm all around! The outdoor space was a huge bonus. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids, and the spacious yard gave them plenty of room to run around and play. It was a quick trip, so we didn’t get to explore as much of the area as we would’ve liked, but there’s clearly a lot to see and do. We’d definitely love to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Clayton area—whether for a special event or just a relaxing getaway.

This house has everything you need for a getaway. We stayed on the decks more than in the house. The furniture outside has been upgraded since the photos on the listing. Kitchen was spotless and had everything I need to cook for my family. I will be back. There are 125 steps to get to the water. I knew it would be a trek, so it didn’t bother me. But, just a heads up if you aren’t able to climb that many steps. All of the houses are like that.

Bert's place was hands down the best Airbnb I've stayed at. It was very spacious and included all the amenities I needed for my stay. The best part was how clean everything was even down to the floors. This eat the first place that I started at that I didn't feel the need to reclean before settling in. Would 💯 stay here again and 💯 recommend! Great stay!

Our stay was beyond enjoyable. The house was so beautiful and the amenities were ideal for our stay. The fireplace kept us cozy and warm. My favorite amenity was the workout area just down the street. I worked out every morning and the equipment options kept me busy. The view from each room just gorgeous. We will absolutely be coming back. The area has great restaurant options in all directions and there is also a mountain hike to the highest elevation in GA where you can see multiple states from the top. It’s a great place for a couple get away or for a small family to enjoy the mountain air and small town feel.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

This place is beautiful and pretty much exactly as described. The rental experience was excellent and Steven was incredibly responsive. I only have a few minor recommendations. First, for such a large house the lone refrigerator is quite small for our golf group’s needs as we like to gather, cook and eat together every night, which made storing all the different foods (in conjunction with all the adult beverages) challenging. Would strongly recommend a larger refrigerator or perhaps a second one downstairs like a few of the other houses we rented had. The other comment would be that a grill and flattop grill are both shown in a few pictures but there was no grill to be found. burgers and dog night was cooked on the flattop and barbecue night had to. Be prepared at a different house with a grill. No big deal or inconvenience but either remove the grill picture or get one. Otherwise Steven was an incredible host and the house itself was a 5 star experience. Highly recommend this house.

Carol’s place is lovely, in a beautiful location conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Folk School where we were taking classes. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Very clean place with comfortable beds, would stay again!

We really enjoyed our week long stay I. Murphy! Marvin, our host and relative of Frank’s, was extremely responsive and helpful. I was a little nervous driving up the mountain to the cabin the first day we arrived but our Toyota Sienna handled it just fine and by day three it was no big deal. It’s winding, skinny, and steep but paved. The cabin views are absolutely unmatched and the location is amazing. Downtown Murphy is quaint and not overrun by tourists (we visited Ellijay, Bryson city, and Blue Ridge during our stay and Murphy was my favorite). The Cabin was clean and as described. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and I brought a lot from home but really didn’t need to- we cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and I found most everything I needed. I appreciated Marvin’s helpfulness when we couldn’t get the fire place to light on our super cold day (we did eventually get it!). Also cabin location was great for day trips to Bryson city, Ellijay etc. Highly recommend!!

Jenny’s home was so beautiful! As someone who is often anxious in new places, I felt right at home. All the doors were easy to lock and the property felt safe! As a bigger girl, the king beds were so comfortable and the master bath didn’t feel tiny (unlike some other Airbnb’s I have been to). But fair warning to us bigger folk, the bathroom towels don’t cover too much. The view was stunning. To just sit on the front porch to eat breakfast, see such a broad and beautiful view, and to hear and see the local wildlife was just what we were hoping for! Plus, the hot tub was clean and comfortable. Even though it was in an open porch area, I also wasn’t anxious about that either. The driveway is pretty steep, so if anyone was coming up the road we definitely would’ve known. Glad my car is AWD for sure. Jenny was also a very responsive host for any questions before and during our stay! We would absolutely visit again. :)

We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect, and beautiful. The house was extremely spacious and had everything we needed. Including tons of games to keep the kids occupied, would definitely stay again

We booked this very lovely airbnb rental last minute for Labor Day weekend, and it was such a cozy and beautiful home! We honestly felt like we were part of the family... The decor and updates to the home are fantastic, and we really enjoyed the uniqueness of some of the antique furniture and kitchenware. The beds are super cozy, and the bathrooms have plenty of space. The home was super clean and well kept! Lake Chatuge, and the boat slip are literally steps off the back deck. During the daytime, the dock and boat ramp area are pretty busy, and this home is situated amongst a long-term RV park, so it's not the most private... but we very much felt comfortable and very much enjoyed our stay. Great Mountain is wonderful and so responsive! I would book this house and any other with them without hesitation. We hope to visit again very soon!

Beautiful home! My family was looking for a large home so that we could do an early Thanksgiving that could accommodate our large party, and this fit the bill. Quiet, secluded, and ample space for our family. Grocery store nearby for easy trips to the store. Host was very friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend a nice family get together here!

Enjoyed a peaceful week at Jessica’s cabin- the cabin was clean and cozy. We loved the porch view. My husband did have phone service with his carrier Verizon. Also really enjoyed the DVD collection for the kids. Would definitely book again.

We loved this cabin for its beautiful location, fun gameroom and overall comfortable space. My teens loved separated bedroom and gameroom space downstairs. It’s certainly a place we would rent again.

This home was absolutely perfect for our needs. Lovely location, peaceful sounds of the creek and a well appointed and beautifully decorated interior made for the perfect getaway. It served us as a perfect home base to explore the area and enjoy the mountains. My kids loved this home and had a great time playing in the creek! We also loved seeing the cows and turkeys across the road. The host was easy to reach and responsive to messages. We definitely hope to return! It truly could not have been better!

I love Gooseberry House! This is my second stay, and I hope to have many more here. The furniture is comfy with plenty of seating. The kitchen has everything I needed for cooking - lots of pots & pans, and well stocked with the basics plus much more. The front porch swing is fabulous, as is the back deck with fire pit. We had a wonderful time, and highly recommend Gooseberry House!

Amazing location, right on a beautiful creek that is close to many small towns. The house is brand new and perfect with plenty of room.

This was our second time staying at this beautiful cabin overlooking Lake Chatuge, and we want to come back every year. The screened in porch is a great place for relaxing, drinking a cup of coffee, and watching the lake. The space inside gave us everything we needed to rest and relax for the weekend, and the showers had great water pressure (which is not always the case with other places we’ve stayed!). Mary has always been so kind to interact with and very accommodating.

Our family of 14 (3 families) had the absolute best time at Unwined! The house is very spacious and worked perfectly for our families. One family had the downstairs for sleeping, I had the master on main, and the other family had the upstairs for their family of 6. The pictures simply do not do the house justice -- it is so pretty, decorated so nicely, and everything is so organized with helpful labels to help navigate where things are. The kitchen is very well stocked, which was nice since we ate in. All of the kids (and a few adults) enjoyed all the video games downstairs, and we had a fun night of karaoke. The pool table was a hit also. The ladder ball and cornholl games were great for enjoying outside, and the view is amazing! There are so many great areas for sitting and visiting with each other inside and outside! Tim and Karla were so gracious and offered great communication! We hope to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay with our family and close friends. Everyone loved the spacious house and beautiful surrounding area. The kids really enjoyed feeding and petting the cows, the llamas and the sheep. The place has a beautiful history of several generations living there. The owners live in a house not too far, but they give you your privacy and space. We would consider returning.

Wonderful Valentine’s weekend with my hubby. Cabin is beautiful, as is the property. Owner is very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The cabin was clean, homey, beautifully decorated, and most importantly to us, it was peaceful and quiet. Loved the front porch swing which allowed us to enjoy being outside during a beautiful rain. I absolutely loved staying here ! Beautiful amazing view right outside your bedroom door! Very clean, quiet, comfy, cozy home. This has to be one of my favorites yet. Also very clean ! Very accommodating from the pool table and game room etc. To the Jacuzzi and fire pit. Five stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Can’t wait to come back and visit this place again 🫶🏻
