Booked this very last minute for a work trip! Was just like the pictures it made me wish I had more time to stay in the area. I could tell it was close to the park and would be a great location if you want to explore downtown.

Her cottage is so cute and is in a very peaceful location, still very close to the stadium, restaurants and downtown. Both the bed and the cot were very comfortable. This was my second stay at this lovely cottage, and once again, it didn’t disappoint. The space is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully set up with all the amenities you need to feel right at home. Fresh linens and towels were provided, and the separate bedroom from the main living area gave it a nice sense of space and privacy. The kitchenette and dining table made it easy to enjoy meals in, and everything was well maintained and spotless. The location is ideal—central and just a short distance from the UGA campus. The owner greeted me upon arrival, which added a personal and welcoming touch. I’d definitely stay here again!

Wonderful spot for an Athens visit! Great for parents weekend. We even got to cook a meal for our college daughter and her boyfriend, which was a gift. A great location, walkable to all our needs and a great roost for two for a quick visit. Much more comfortable than a hotel and all we needed!

Sarah Jane was a great hostess. We were in town for our son's UGA graduation and could not have asked for a better experience. This is an exquisite historic property. The outside seating/gathering space was amazing and overlooked the pool and manicured grounds. Thank you Sarah Jane!

We stayed at Lindsay’s place for several days while attending our daughter’s graduation festivities. The space was just as we expected and provided a nice and quiet place to relax. We had a few special requests and Lindsay was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend!

Carnita’s place was wonderful. It was nice and cozy and very clean and comfortable. I was in love with the standing shower and decor! The smell of the bedding and pillows was amazing! Only downfall is of neighbors multiple dogs constant barking while you’re coming and going, didn’t really hear them any other time. I understand this isn’t Carnita issue so I’m not blaming, the place was great! We would stay again!

LOVED The Coop! With two girls at UGA, I’ve booked many overnight stays in and around Athens. Sherre’s place is my new favorite! The Coop is so beautifully decorated and it’s surroundings so peaceful. We were greeted by chickens and Teddy, Sherre’s handsome cat. You’re going to love it, too. Especially, the porch! The Coop is the place for you, if you enjoy friendly hosts, homemade banana bread with chocolate chips, bright & happy decorated spaces, and pure tranquility. Can’t wait to return!

Wonderful Stay at Amanda’s Guesthouse! I had the pleasure of staying at Amanda’s guesthouse in Colbert for a last-minute work trip to Athens, and I can’t recommend it enough. Despite my last-minute reservation, Amanda was incredibly prompt and accommodating, making the booking process seamless. The guesthouse itself was absolutely charming and homey. The attention to detail was clear in every corner of the space, from the comfortable furnishings to the well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Everything I needed was right there, including plenty of towels, toiletries, kitchen utensils, and even amazing hand soap (a small touch that really stood out!). I was traveling light with just a backpack, so it was so convenient not having to worry about basic supplies like paper products for a short stay (also the small details like a new sponge are not lost on me). Michael & Lydia's place is very welcoming and clean. It has everything you need for your stay from plenty of dishes, towels, silverware, washer & dryer, plenty of hot water, blankets, and a huge closet (bonus). We are building right down the road from the Airbnb, so it is perfect for us. Michael & Lydia are the nicest and most caring people you will meet. We love seeing the horses, cows, and donkey. We have fed them carrots and apples, and they love them. If you are ever looking for a place to stay when you are in the area, I would highly recommend staying here.
