Holiday rentals with a hot tub in City of Carlisle

The location is fantastic and there is another route if you dont fancy the very steep hill up to the property. There was enough space for all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool table and hot tub as the weather was intermittent!! There was a small issue with the heating which the hosts responded to immediately. A great central base for exploring.

We needed a nice peaceful relaxing few days away and that’s exactly what we got. Emily and Alun gave great recommendations for local walks, pubs and restaurants. The accommodation was spotless, well stocked with everything we needed. I would highly recommend.

The house has the wow factor. Clean, tidy and you have the use of a hot tub or an amazing bath after a long walk. I would recommend taking a bath robe and flip flops for the spa/hot tub area. Everything you need is in the kitchen. The fireplace is stocked up with wood and heats the whole house and it feels so cosy. The homemade lemon drizzle cake was a treat to take with us on our walks. Dog friendly and a basket of treats for our pup and considering it’s dog friendly the house is kept immaculate. The area is perfect for those that enjoy peace and nature and amazing views. So many walks straight from your doorstep. There is a small post office in the village and Alston town not far away for bigger shops and fuel station. Lovely neighbours with a wealth of knowledge of the area. My husband and I along with our dog had an amazing stay and would definitely go back.

Stayed for 2 nights and we didn't want to leave! Went for a break with friends and the pooch and all absolutely loved it. Beautiful home, views and great dog walks local. Very secluded garden area with hot tub which was lovely in the autumn weather. Will definitely be returning in the future! Tom was a great host, providing clear instructions on how to get to his place and how to operate the hot tub. The accommodation was fantastic, had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend, and is in a beautiful location. Highly recommended, we will be back!

Stayed here for a night before our wedding in Gretna Hall with our family. Omg it’s the best self catering we have ever stayed in. Wood fire hot tub , beautiful garden, absolutely pristine and Dougie could not be more helpful. My only regret is not being able to stay longer. Definitely hoping to return for a longer trip. This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

Beautiful property, excellent location. Would love to have stayed longer. Would have preferred the garden to be more private and secure, but this didnt spoil our stay and we had a lovely time . Kitchen was well equipped and the property was bigger than it appeared on the photos!

Andrew and Virginie have created a perfect retreat with stunning views of Windermere and the rolling hills. great amenities and ideally located for a short walk into bowness. Virginie was super helpful with tips and advice. we would love to return again.

Truly an incredible place to stay at over the weekend. Very walkable but felt private. The views are stunning, the photo's do not do it justice. Nick was extremely accommodating and responsive and was very clear in all instructions. He even offered us a later check-out. Would definitely like to come back at some point as there's so much to do in and around the house. You will not be disappointed by staying at this place - it's the best booking I've ever made on this app. Thanks again Nick!

We've stayed at other places in the past, but none have given off the positive vibes we experienced here. The care and attention given to the extensive grounds is truly exemplary, right down to the precise way the grass was mown. I never seem to get a good night's sleep except in my own bed, yet here I slept like a lamb for three nights straight! Great beds and luxurious bedding. Finally, the cherry on the cake has to be the privacy and tranquility.

Amazing location right by the lake. Lovely cabin and the hot tub was cracking. Having a little boat to row out onto the lake was a nice little touch. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

Absolutely loved our stay here. It’s out the way, quiet, peaceful and perfect place to reset. The communication was fabulous, the owner was wonder was kind, friendly and accommodating. Love the fact it’s on a dairy farm! Would definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing stay here, just what we needed to get away from city life, scenery was beautiful, hot tub was amazing, very clean, we just loved every second of it, we didn't want to come home! Thank you Catherine for having the prosecco and banners up for us on arrival , it was a lovely suprise for my partners birthday. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic lodge and lovely location! Everything you could possibly need is included and it’s decorated beautifully. The only thing I could ask in future is if there was a vacuum net for the hottub as it can get debris in from the surrounding trees.

We had a fantastic stay. Very relaxing and clean! If I was being really picky, it could use a couple more sets of cutlery/plates and pots and pans. But as a 4 person booking, we managed!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful lodge. The view from the living room was absolutely stunning, we couldn’t get enough of it. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Me and my boyfriend came for our 2 year anniversary. I paid for the anniversary package the details were very personalised. The Pod was very clean and very beautiful and quiet. We had an amazing time highly recommend and would come again.
