Andrew and Ann welcome you to our beautiful Victorian age Bed and Breakfast, in the centre of Ambleside, The Lake District. We are situated in the centre of Ambleside, but off the main road. There are many fantastic restaurants and bars right on our doorstep as well as lots of the Lake Districts most scenic hiking trails. Quiet double B and B in Dumfries

Only a 10 minute walk into town. Large room with king size bed, TV, workstation, armchairs and private bathroom on the first floor of my warm and artistic home. Close to pubs, shops and restaurants, railway station and arts cinema. You can use my garden, kitchen and dining areas. cooked breakfast is included. We have one private room which can sleep up to 2 people. This can be set up as either double or twin room, please request your preference on booking. There is WiFi in the room The kitchen and bathroom are shared. We also have laundry facilities. Pets welcome. Parking is available. Penrith is the ‘heart of the Lake District’ and a good place to start discovering this wonderful area. We are only minutes from M6 junction 40. We welcome cyclists and walkers. There is a secure hallway for cycles.
