Cottage holiday rentals in Chincoteague

My friend and I loved staying at this little house. It was so close to the beach, the hot tub was amazing in the evenings and the house was comfortable and welcoming. It was clean, organized and well stocked with the towels. Great little getaway spot at a wonderful price.

The house is wonderful! We enjoyed being in the fenced backyard with our dogs, hanging out on the dock watching the boats go by, or just sitting in the house admiring the view through the huge picture windows. It was very clean and had all that we needed for a relaxing get away weekend. Natalie was very responsive and very helpful with great local suggestions. Emily's Produce is only a few minutes away and has everything we needed, including fully cooked meals. We can't wait to come back!

This is our second time visiting and a perfect spot with everything we needed. Could provide more dish towels, paper towels, and trash bags but supplies were provided quickly upon request.

Had a mini friend vacation with 6 people total and we all immediately felt right at home. The layout of the home is extremely convenient-there’s a half bath next to the washer/dryer right near the door to the deck- it was perfect for fast bathroom breaks without getting the entire house wet! We spent most of our time in the pool area and game room, and both spaces had everything we needed! (Nadia, I hope you don’t mind we left a few pool new loungers behind!) We took advantage of pretty much everything aside from swimming in the lake (bugs were really bad, no one’s fault at all but be warned- you NEED to have bug spray.) The only critique I could give was the softness of the beds, they were all really firm and if you have any sort of sleeping and or back/pain problems, it could be evident the next morning. But overall it was an amazing time and the host was extremely courteous and genuinely caring! A lot of love goes into this spot and you can tell. We can’t wait to go back.

This was our second time staying at JoJo’s cottage and it was another amazing experience! The house really makes you feel like you’re right at home. The kitchen is well stocked, so we were able to do a lot of cooking at the house. But you’re also so close to so many restaurants for when you’re feeling something easier! It really is a perfect spot, especially if you have dogs and/or kiddos. We would totally book again next summer 😊

We had a relaxing weekend stay at Dave and Melissa’s place. The views from the screened in porch were beautiful. The surrounding area had a mix of older and newer properties. The little beach was nice. Overall a great place if you are looking for a quiet place to escape to.

Surrounded by trees and the sound of waves- perfect place to relax & unwind. Quick but steep hike to the secret beach. Cool spot and more shell than I expected. Kyli was a responsive host, answered all my questions. Also, recommended Island Hideaway for dinner and it was amazing. Homemade pasta and desserts made in house daily. Great views and delicious foods & drinks.

My family and I rented the house for a long weekend in early summer. We loved the privacy and the nature around the property literally had deer grazing around the house all of the time. The neighborhood is very good for walking. Close drive to Ocean City, Maryland plenty of restaurants and entertainment. We would definitely return.

Would return and recommend to others. Beautiful pristine space with numerous areas for guest to spread out and experience the beauty of the area and learn about the history and renovation of that particular farm and community. Very interesting restoration of existing structures and addition of many more places and ways to learn about and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Great home in a beautiful area. Spacious rooms and the whole house is equipped with everything you need. I love Airbnbs that feel homey and not ‘commercial’. The area is BEAUTIFUL and walkable with great restaurants near by (checkout limonchello and get the pizza!). Perfect for a weekend.

We ABSOLUTELY loved our visit, and plan to return and stay with Basia! Our weekend consisted of rainy weather and she offered us a covered porch which was well worth it!! Each morning we had a peaceful water view with the horses in the distance. I don’t think it could get any better. The boat tour was SO much fun. Basia stayed in contact with us about when would be the better time to go. She really looked out for us when the weather would be at its peak. Her recommendations never failed to impress. Thank you SO much for having us!! We plan to be back.

This cottage was a gorgeous place to relax with my wife for her birthday. The proximity to the bay cannot be beat - especially since she made kayaks available for our stay. I would happily re-book next time I am in the area.

We had a great time at Diana’s place. The water access was awesome and we had lots of fun with the kayaks. We were able to walk through a wooded trail to a nearby restaurant which was so nice. The location felt private and naturally beautiful while being not far from grocery stores and restaurants. Diana’s neighborhood is beautiful and the space is charming and comfortable. Such a fun way to see the Chesapeake, we would love to come back!

The space and the hosts were absolutely wonderful. While our trip was rainy and we weren’t able to enjoy as much of the outside space as we would have liked, the area was gorgeous and we loved looking out at the amazing views and local fowl while we were cozied up inside. The beds were comfy and the space was plenty quiet in the evenings. I’d absolutely recommend the cottage to others and plan to be back!

Jacki's home was so lovely and perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends. We brought our dog who absolutely loved the fenced-in yard and extra loved the mountain of toys stocked in the house!

This was our second time staying at Frank and Dayle's. Their place is perfectly located, just a few minutes walk to the beach or to the shops and restaurants in town. The bike trail and tennis courts are also close by. The house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable for our family of four, including parents and two young adults. Our son was able to work remotely and found the enclosed porch provided a perfect work space. WiFi was also excellent. Frank and Dayle are responsive and helpful hosts. Our family have stayed in close to two dozen Airbnbs and I would rank Ebb and Flow beach house as one of the best!

My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful time and the home played a big part in this. I was so impressed with all the extras that I just never see in other homes. The house is so cozy and such a beautiful location. Just perfect for relaxation. We will definitely want to come back. Thank you Cornelia for opening up your home to us.

It was a pleasure finding this peaceful home. It is nestled in a rural area of Maryland. If you need to get away from life for a reset, this is the perfect place. The host was extremely responsive and flexible. The home is nicely accommodating and the local area has a nice park and dock to enjoy the water. I would highly recommend staying. James P

We had a wonderful stay at the house, which was both clean and amazing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and I particularly enjoyed the outdoor shower. The home was well-equipped with everything we needed, making our experience hassle-free. We spent enjoyable moments crabbing on the pier, and we found that everyone we encountered on the island was friendly and laid-back.

The cleanest place I haven’t rented in along time! Beautiful views, the family had a great time fishing! Host was very quick to respond! Beautiful home.

Great getaway place, super peaceful, and quiet. Beautiful views. Just a few helpful tips for your visit …might want to bring tin foil, plastic wrap, etc. We didn’t care for the taste of the tapwater, may want to bring your own. Matches for the grill were found in the utility room. Shed had plenty of extra space to store our 2 bikes, could fit 3-4. Highly recommend, we would definitely stay here again!!

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage on a private beach! The peaceful setting and direct access to the water made for a truly relaxing getaway. We especially loved the Adirondack chairs and firepit overlooking the Chesapeake Bay—perfect for amazing views and cozy evenings. The master bedroom and living spaces offered beautiful water views that made every moment feel serene and special. The owner was incredibly accommodating with check-in and shared thoughtful, personal tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind by the bay!

You will not be disappointed if you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway but only minutes from the beach. Pop pops Place is so clean and cozy you would think you were the first renters! Stephanie is very thoughtful and has thought of just about everything and even left us Fishers Popcorn (local fav) to enjoy upon our arrival. It looked exactly like the photos and as described, if not better.

Perfect vacation getaway! I was so impressed with TLBCT! Forrest and Mariah provided total transparency in their advertising of The Little Blue Cottage at Topping. Everything was just as they listed and ALL on one floor. But it was the little extra touches that did it for me, the noise machines at each bedside, (which I now have to get one since returning home), the caring way that they communicated with me before, during and after the trip, and the endless supply of conveniences in case you forgot something! With elderly parents, we cooked all meals at the home, and the kitchen was well stocked to make that happen! I think I have found my home away from home. I can’t wait to return to the peaceful TLBCT. Thank you for sharing your beautiful and amazing home with me, my husband, my grown son, two grandmothers and our fur babies. We will be back!!❤️
