After a long string of stays in bare, beige, run-down suburban homes, often never seeing the owner, being hosted by Cora and her husband was a breath of fresh air, a reminder of what the airbnb experience was in the beginning. I booked late in the evening and was told that the front door would be unlocked and to just come in. The old farm house is well lived-in and full of tchotchkes; I stayed in the bedroom full of stuffed bears. In the morning, they welcomed me at the kitchen table as if I was part of the family. They offered a wide range of breakfast choices and made great conversation, telling me in particular about the range of local birds that visit their rural property. Before leaving, I took a walk down to the river in their back yard. If you want human interaction, I highly recommend staying here.

Gina's place was absolutely beautiful! Immediately upon walking in it feels cozy. I love the wood. The bed was comfortable and I slept perfectly. It was a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

It's a loft sized place above a garage with some angled ceilings so you'll need to duck down if you're tall. Also the door to get in is on the opposite side from where you park. Other than that, it was tranquil, clean, and easy to access!

I stayed at Marie Aline’s cottage for 2 months and loved it! The decor is super cute and the amenities are perfect for a long-term stay. I was a 10 min walk from Old Colorado City, which has dozens of unique shops and great restaurants. I saw deer in the neighborhood almost everyday, and an adorable cat lives across the street! I would definitely stay here again.
