Super apartment in a very quiet part of Saintes, at only a 10 minutes walk from the historic center. Parking right in front of the house! The apartment is super spacious and practical, and the deco is top. We loved the outside space where we took our breakfast in the morning sun. Very relaxing!! This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

A dreamlike house in the idyll of west France! We had a wonderful time as a family in the beautiful house Colibri in Médis. We are very thankful for Hélène and Delphine being warmly welcoming to us and tremendously friendly, uncomplicated and extremely helpful. The house is very beautiful, cozy and comfortable, the equipment and the garden are fantastically laid out. We look forward to being back very soon! All the best, Nell & Family

The accommodation is ideally located in relation to the beach within walking distance and the activities of Saint Georges. Near the bakery which is convenient and also Royan. Spacious for 6 people with the very pleasant outdoor terrace.

Hélène is a very pleasant and accessible host. The listing is true to the listing and functional. A big plus point about the location, it is located in a quiet area, close to the beach and shops. Great for doing anything by foot!

Very quiet location, very clean and very pleasant apartment. Beautiful decor, lots of blankets and pillows. We had a great weekend, we were able to cook a little and enjoy the beautiful little terrace that overlooks the pine trees. Florence, the hostess, is lovely. We won't hesitate to return.
