It theoretically sleeps 10 but suitable for 7 if one prefers sleeping alone. Terrific for group bookings, cycling and triathlon participants, temp workers, golfers, extended families in area for special occasions, corporate charity rides, or bake off weekends! Perfect for visiting Tudor England all around beautiful West Kent. We are 35 mins from South London

The cottage is in a semi-rural setting. There is a garden with table and chairs for sitting outside, and a BBQ to enjoy summer days. The cottage has everything to ensure your stay is comfortable. Nearby there is a choice of quaint country pubs and the bars and restaurants of Sevenoaks are a short drive. There are lots of wonderful nearby country walks. Hever Castle, Chartwell House (Winston Churchill), & Down House (Charles Darwin) are just some of the attractions within a short drive.

Located in beautiful wooded area on outskirts of London: 20 minutes by train to London Bridge. Chislehurst station 7 minutes walk, or 2 minutes bus ride. Village has "old" and "new" part with boutique restaurants & shops incl. supermarket (10-15 minutes walk ). Near the station are Chislehurst caves, restored historic monument & tourist attraction from war time use as a bomb shelter. Around the flat there are beautiful walks , runs & cycling in Petts Wood. House has quiet garden.

The house recently featured in Mr Bates v The Post Office, & the roundel was the actors green room.
