We had a great experience. It worked well for our two families and it had a private space in the back. The host was very responsive and responded immediately.

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

We loved our week long stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. The leave was clean and with great instruction the pool and spa were easy to use and a fabulous addition to our beach days. Internet was little spotty. Wished we could have recycled. Grill is small but perfect for the 2 of us. Absolutely amazing and responsive host. This was a splurge for us and we’re glad we did it!

I had a wonderful stay! The space was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The hosts were incredibly kind and communicative—they truly made me feel welcomed and cared for. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable stay!

We had a second fantastic stay! The amenities, location and hot tub make it well worth the cost. Having two bikes and a golf cart included is a huge bonus—perfect for exploring the area with ease and enjoying the surroundings without needing to drive everywhere or pay for bike or cart rentals, or parking. The property is clean, comfortable, beautiful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway.

Missy was indeed, the hostess with the absolute MOSTESS! She was on top of every little detail or issue (which we didn’t have any, but needed some detergent for the dishwasher and her son was right on top of it!). She has truly created a magical oasis full of such biodiversity in a small space; it’s like being transported to another time and place of peace and harmony. We made multiple skink friends by the pool, a raccoon named ‘Mac’ and wonderful neighbors (of the human variety), too! The location is perfection in a bottle; everything is walkable, bike-able or golf cart accessible. If you want to hit the beach, take the bike right down 6th to the dock and Viola! The pool and hot tub were our favorite spots to kick back and relax, then it was off to a few of our favorite foodie gems: The Seawolf (amazing cocktails and vegan noms) and The Crab Shack (prawns were AMAZING, rescued parrot fun and gator watching galore). We miss The Salty Mermaid already! Thank you, Missy! 🌊🧜‍♀

This place was lovely! I loved that it was between Tybee Island and downtown Savannah so it was easy to go between the two. Very well appointed with little extras for guests- like a coffee bar, bathroom amenities and plenty of local activity brochures for us to plan the best trip. Our host was proactive in making sure everything was going well. It’s roomy but cozy and I just adored the whole experience! Thank you so much!

Missy & Chad were extremely responsive when we needed to reach out. My friends & I had a wonderful time in their very clean, beautifully decorated- sweet home! We Loved the use of the golf cart to go to North Beach which was so close, the outdoor shower was a great way to get the sand off and the hot tub was awesome after a long drive! We can’t wait to come back!!

Lauren’s place was perfect for us! Pool was great and water temp was perfect all times of the day. Great older beach house and check out was easiest I’ve ever had. Will definitely return here if visiting Tybee again!

Jenny’s cottage was simply adorable! I traveled from California to visit my daughter and her new husband. We were exploring Savannah and the Tybee area. The cottage was centrally located to both. Only about 20 minutes to historic Savannah. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a lovely family room and a vintage chic kitchen. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable with a king bed in the master and a comfy trundle in the second bedroom. Jenny was so responsive and easy to contact. We had a few requests and she responded so quickly and generously. She had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The grounds were lovely with a sitting area and fire pit. We enjoyed a walk through the neighboring areas. It was very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay at Jenny’s cottage again and highly recommend her property to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Jenny for hosting us! We’re so glad we found you!

Such a great location with a nice sized dog-friendly yard, too! Kevin was an excellent communicator and the whole experience went smoothly. Would recommend and come again!

This home is in a great location and is well kept. The host was accommodating and communicated clearly. I’d come back if I visit Daufuskie Island again in the future

This makesnour familes second stay at the cottage and it as nice as the first. You can walk to the beach and be there in 5 minutes. There is a convenient store, ice cream shop, gas station and restaurants all within 5 minutes walking. A short drive, 5 minutes, and you are at the pier and more fabulous restaurants and shops. We love staying at the cottage and making new family memories and reminiscing about our past experiences. We love the cottage.

Our cottage was perfection! Beautiful, clean, very well stocked, wonderful location complete with pelican and dolphin sitings, friendly neighbors, very serene & that intoxicating porch swing!!!! The owner was so kind and we even met him in person when he delivered a golf cart to us ( to replace one)…we appreciated that personal touch! Five stars all around… my friends and I now know why this peaceful island can “get in your blood,” making you want to go back..and, this cottage is the perfect place to go back to!!!! Thank you for the stay!

This cottage is EVEN CUTER than it appears in the pictures. Every single piece of art was thoughtfully chosen and the entire place is just adorable. We were 4 sisters coming together for some weekend fun and this was such a lovely home base. The screened front porch is peaceful and a great place for coffee or an afternoon aperitivo. The kitchen is ridiculously well stocked with anything and everything you could want (cooking on vacation isn't my thing but you could!) The AC and fans in each room kept the cottage very comfortable (wow, it was HOT for June). All of the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. Beach access was super close. Kim was a wonderful host, I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great time here! The cottage was clean and had lots of character. Being able to take our dog and the fenced backyard was a big plus. It was close to and convenient for visiting Savannah and under a half hour from Tybee!

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here! The place was clean, comfortable, and just as described. The bed is on the firmer side but I actually prefer that so that was no issue for me. I felt like there was nothing we needed when we were there. There were a couple of times where I wished I had brought an item with me but then I’d realize there was no need because the host thought of everything. The home is fully stocked with plenty of cookware, coffee pods, toilet tissue, and towels. The inclusion of the bikes were a lovely touch and we enjoyed taking them on a ride around Forsyth Park! The neighborhood was peaceful, which made it easy to relax. Laura was very responsive and even shared some great local recommendations, which we really appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

The host was amazing and always made sure we were taken care of. If you’re looking for a nice area to stay in this is definitely the place to go. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was complete with lots of utilities. Thank you so much for this amazing stay we had so much fun!

The River Cottage is a gem, beautiful interior, wonderfully decorated, excellent kitchen utensils, surrounded by magnificent trees with a private perch on the river. Fred, our host, is conscientious, warm, trying in all manner to insure our stay was rewarding and free of problems. We view the River Cottage as a golden opportunity to revisit, re-experience the charm of Savannah and be swept away by the clean, majestic beauty of the nearby barrier islands.

The place was as described. Very clean, comfortable, peaceful and very close to our daughter and her family, who we were visiting. We will definitely be looking to stay again and again when we visit. The dock and license plates collection was a huge hit with all of us. Pat and Bob were very nice and kind. Had a lot of fun! The beds were very comfortable, the living room furniture was also very comfortable.
