Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Constructed of Cotswold stone with central and underfloor heating. The studio style layout provides a double room and bed with en-suite bathroom. Downstairs is a fitted kitchen, open plan living room and breakfast bar.

Northleach town is just a three minute drive away. The barn is open plan, spacious, super cosy, and perfect for a countryside Cotswold getaway! It is quiet, and simply magical!

We are ideally located for discovering the many beautiful Cotswold villages as well as within easy reach of Oxford, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. We are also close to Daylesford Farmshop and Soho Farmhouse and are surrounded by rolling countryside for lovely longs walks. There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants to visit. The Coach House makes up part of Bretforton Manor, a Grade II-listed Jacobean estate that’s a 10-minute drive from Chipping Campden in the picturesque north Cotswolds. We only have the one property which is luxurious and very spacious for two people. Guests have access to our incredible facilities (5 acres of grounds with an indoor swimming pool, which is open April to Sept and a tennis court). Bretforton is a brilliant base to explore the Cotswolds, Stratford upon Avon, Oxford.

Daylesford Organic a two minute drive or a 25 min. walk through beautiful Cotswold countryside, Soho Farmhouse and Diddly Squat Farm shop a short drive. There are a wealth of stunning Cotswold market towns on the doorstep.
