Beachfront holiday rental in Chalcis

Nice, clean apartment with a spacious balcony and plenty of parking spaces right outside the door. The host was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay there.

Dimitra is very good, pleasant and hospitable. The place was clean and the price very reasonable for the location of the house. It is located right in the city center and is all next to walking. I recommend it!!

It's a beautiful place, very convenient in every way. Quiet. Store's, restaurants, ferry, beach and more... All at walking distance. plus a beautiful sunset!.

We stayed over the othodox Easter and enjoyed the house and the area around the house. The check in and communication was very easy and we always received quick answers from Ekterini. We had two babies with us and there was plenty enough space in the bedrooms to place a baby bed next to the beds. I recommend this stay!

What a fantastic stay! We were only in town for one night, looking at long term rental properties, and I wish we could have stayed longer! The condo is cozy, spacious, spotlessly clean, inviting, and beautifully situated right on the water. I highly recommend this rental and hope we can visit Chalkida again to stay!

Cozy, simple and clean place, right on the sea, lovely host.

We stayed 6 weeks and it felt like a resort. My family really liked the pool during the heat wave and the "basement" villa overlooking the sea was great for our teenagers to get away from us. Great location with easy access to shopping and the main road around Evia. Not great if you're looking for a place that doesn't need a car. The wifi is about standard for Greece and the islands. The host and his brother (Andreas) were amazing and responsive when we had problems or questions. There are several rentals within the gated area that have access to the beach, but this is the only rental with a pool and a beach. The beach is better than most public beaches on the gulf-side of Evia, but the Agean-side of Evia is where the real beaches are. I would definitely stay there again.

Anna and Menelaos were delightful hosts - friendly and helpful, & they even invited us to join them for Sunday dinner! The apartment/villa is just lovely - lots of space & fully equipped with a private wrap-around balcony (so you can find sun or shade to your preference all day), and a shared (with the hosts) garden & pool area. So lovely to come back to a little paradise after a hot day of exploring! And a great location - near enough to Chalkida that you can quickly be in the middle of the action if you wish. Note there is a relatively steep flight of stairs (as noted in the listing).

The house was wonderful, in a peaceful location, ideal to relax! Everything was pristinely clean and the house had everything a family would need, down to coffee, board games, and fully equipped rooms. The pool is a great highlight, as the multiple seating places around it, and the fantastic lighting in the evening! George is a super host, absolute professional, warm hearted and with a big smile. He responded to everything we asked and suggested places to visit 😀 Thank you George, we hope to see you again !!

We had a simply fantastic time staying at Kostas and Sofia's Calypso Villa. The setting is jaw dropping... every morning I would walk out of the master bedroom and be confronted with the most stunning view, through the wide giant windows of the living room, of the sea and mountains of the mainland behind. The villa is simple but super comfortable. The main living room/kitchen combined with the deck feels huge and with the constant companion of that amazing view. The pool - very cold! - great between sunbathing stints. And our three children - one teen and two tweens - loved the table tennis. We had not been to Evia before and really loved the 'off the beaten track' feel of it, so close to Athens and yet feeling very traditional and rural. Dafni itself has one taverna, above the beach, and there's another in Neotrivia (4-5 minute drive) where we also bought bread each morning from the tiny back street bakery. Sofia and Kostas are super helpful and friendly and we'd love to go back.

The house has a fantastic view of the mountain and the sea, the interior is tastefully decorated in Mediterranean style with a comfortable distribution for several families. We thought the lack of air conditioning would be uncomfortable if there was heat, but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were enough at night. It is easily accessible by car, a nearby beach, shopping, and a larger village. It may be suitable for a longer stay because there is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The owner always responded quickly and kindly to any questions or issues that came up, and communication was easy.

I highly recommend Eirini as a host. The apartment is very, very clean. Equipped with everything you might need for a very long stay. The beach is a few steps from the apartment. There are lots of tavernas and restaurants nearby that offer delicious local dishes. Very good location. We felt very safe both in the apartment and in the area. Highly recommend again❤️🌷

We were delighted with the friendliness and helpfulness. Thanks to Chrysis' help, we found our way around Athens well. The tips were very helpful. We were in Paralia Advilos in the preseason and it was very quiet, almost too quiet, but for those who want to relax, the house offers all possibilities. Sincere thanks again for the hospitality!!

A very pleasant experience during the 12 days we spent at Mrs. Fotini and Mr. Niko's house. We were a family with two children, 3 and 10 years old. Everything was perfect, from the cleanliness to the communication with the owners of the house who were ready to help us with any need we might have. They lived on the second floor of the house, but they didn't bother us at all, on the contrary, if we needed something, they answered us. They brought us tomatoes from their own garden, which were all organic and very tasty. One day Mrs. Fotini cooked us lunch and left it for us at the table in the yard and when we returned from the beach, we had lunch ready and it was very delicious. The sea was two steps away and we did not use the car for the beach at all. The cleanest sea I have seen in all of Athens. During the week there were no people at all, it was just us and the beach and we liked it a lot as we wanted a quiet place to spend our holidays. We really enjoyed these holidays.

Unbelievable house with an incredible quite private beach. Several good restaurants in walking distance+ a beach club with a great pool 1 minute away. George is friendly and helpful. We felt at home but George's home is a dream home.

Lemma's home is perfect for a restful get away. The property is modern and well equipped. Everything that you could want. The interior of the property was cool and functional, the room fans where quiet and where far superior to A/C. The out door space gives multiple options for eating or just sitting and relaxing. The short walk down the garden to the beach meant we spent a lot of time just "watching" our surroundings, and we even sat there in the evening just looking at the the stars. The beach isn't private, but you get the impression that it is just because there is no one there. There are un-spoilt villages on route to Dafni, if you aren't personally driving the views of the mountains and sea are breath taking. Dafni itself is just at the end of the road there is a taverna at either end of the village that are very welcoming. If you are looking for a location that is unspoilt, but with quality accommodation Lemma's house is it.

Christianne is a very welcoming person, available at any time,helpful and very good advice. We highly recommend this place and this host. We appreciated the presence of dogs and cats that are present but absolutely not invasive. We will definitely be back soon.

Apartment as advertised. Beautiful terrace. Good location so as not to be disturbed by the noise of cars. The village of Vasiliko located 2-3 km away has all the necessary shops.
