House holiday rentals in Chalcis

We stayed 6 weeks and it felt like a resort. My family really liked the pool during the heat wave and the "basement" villa overlooking the sea was great for our teenagers to get away from us. Great location with easy access to shopping and the main road around Evia. Not great if you're looking for a place that doesn't need a car. The wifi is about standard for Greece and the islands. The host and his brother (Andreas) were amazing and responsive when we had problems or questions. There are several rentals within the gated area that have access to the beach, but this is the only rental with a pool and a beach. The beach is better than most public beaches on the gulf-side of Evia, but the Agean-side of Evia is where the real beaches are. I would definitely stay there again.

We had pleasant time and this villa is something special! Highly recommended.

We had an excellent vacation and we highly recommend! A stunning house in a secluded and private area, a few minutes' drive from the nearby town, Amarinthos. Very suitable for those looking for peace and natural scenery and an excellent starting point for trips in Evia. Please note that a car is required. The house is equipped with everything you need, clean and tidy. Maybe could be renewed a bit. Josh was very communicative and helped with anything needed. We would love to return there for more vacations in the future!

We stayed in this home for a week and didn’t want to leave! The views are stunning, the pool was amazing (and very clean), and it was a quick 20 minute drive to Chalkida for groceries/dining. David met us for check in and was friendly and informative. His father stopped by a few days into our visit to drop off groceries (they supply basic breakfast items for the whole week!), and he brought us a huge box of Greek pastries as well. So thoughtful and delicious! The cleaning lady also came midweek and changed all the sheets & towels, as well as cleaned the bathrooms, kitchen, and floors. Loukissia itself is a small, rural village with basically no commercial businesses (we saw two restaurants), so if driving a bit to get to these conveniences is not your style, you may want to look at more populated areas. For us, the privacy and peaceful setting was excellent. We rented a car from the airport and really enjoyed exploring the area. Thank you for a wonderful week in your home!

If you want to be out of town at a quiet location in a big house with a pool and big views of the ocean, this is a great place for all the above. We had a really enjoyable time staying here and hosting friends and family that came to visit. Our kids loved the over sized pool. Thank you Natalia for taking us on, on our short notice request. We really appreciate it and enjoyed.

Claudia was kind, friendly and very helpful! Always responsive and sent over someone to help if we ever got stuck with something. The place is beautiful, clean and very peaceful. We loved the artwork selection and there’s so many places to break out and hang out in smaller groups. There’s like 4 huge balconies, 2 lounges, the beautiful back yard with the huge, very deep pool, second outdoor kitchen and dining area. We loved it. The surrounding area is beautiful and the nearby coastal towns are very sweet with lovely (pebbled) beaches.

It was one of the most amazing houses the most value for money. Panos has placed on the house so many comforts amenities and other stuff we haven t even needed to be used but shows his professionalism and his love on what he is doing. Super recommended. Mary Papathanassiou Dermatologist

the house is spacious even if the living room includes kitchen (small to make the real kitchen) living and dining room and deserves to be larger for 6 people or more on the other hand, the bedrooms are nice and the exteriors: multiple terraces, large garden and outdoor kitchen much appreciated Marilena and her mom are very nice, responsive and accommodating. Access to the beaches requires crossing a very busy road and are not the most beautiful beaches but there is a very good one when leaving for chalkidia 4 minutes away with a small bar that is very quiet and shaded the house is located in the center of the island which makes it easy to radiate

Anastasios and his whole family were welcoming, generous, and discreet at the same time. Ready to respond to all requests at all times. We had the honor of enjoying the loukoumades with honey for breakfast and the mousaka for dinner prepared by Mrs. Katerina: second to none, both! they recommended places to visit, beaches and restaurants that are always great. we arrived three hours late and they met us halfway there, guiding us also by phone. The house is very easy to reach but the first night/night their help was essential. the house is very clean, very tidy and very comfortable. Anastasios made us find plenty of water and other drinks in the fridge, fruit and everything you could need for breakfast. Impeccable linen and towels are in abundance, with the possibility of making more changes. A truly unbeatable welcome. It was a real pleasure to be guests of Anastasios and his family.

It was our first experience with airbnb and Mrs. Sophia, Mr. Dimitris and the house made it remarkable. In this space as soon as you enter it feels like "home" and I think that says it all. Very thoughtful decor and furnishings wins you right away. The house really has everything, comfortable and spotless. Total privacy, within walking distance from the sea, an area that is ideal for walking, swimming and tranquility while nearby there are shops for food and drink. Thank you!

We were two athletes competing in the World Championships and needed somewhere peacefully and quite to rest and recharge, this was the perfect place for that.

Great place, clean, cozy and family owned. Surrounded by very taken care of gardens and awesome view of the wild nature around. The only down side it was that the WiFi didn’t work, and for tourists that come from abroad it’s a big issue. But besides this issue all the rest was just perfect. Highly recommend this place and we would go there again.

The accommodation exceeded my expectations. My 1.5-year-old child was thrilled with the opportunity to run between the floors. Initially, my wife was reserved, but she soon agreed that the place was extraordinary. The location is a fully equipped house with everything you might need - a vacuum cleaner, tissues, oil, shampoo... anything you can think of, it was there. There is a parking space for one car and a small garden on the property. Additionally, the house has a terrace and a balcony. We thoroughly enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner on the terrace with a view of the sea. There is a beach nearby and several restaurants with delicious food within walking distance. A 5-minute drive will take you to a LIDL supermarket and many small shops with tasty food. Overall, I am very pleased that I found this place and will happily stay there again when I visit Khalkida.

Maria's pictures correspond to the facts. The apartment is very very well and lovingly equipped in all areas. The house is situated in a garden with olive trees, in between there are some seating options and hammocks. We followed the address link, unfortunately arrived somewhere else. Thimios and Maria had emailed us a description, but on Googlemaps there was no road, also the note to go to Galazio Café was not to be found. A small note for those who still want to go. Café Galazio is better found on Googlemaps by entering 'Pema Galazio'. Kindly, Thimios picked us up at the port of Eretria; after that it was easy. The location of the house is very quiet, the beach is about a 10-minute walk. Thank you to Maria and Thimios for the warm welcome, the delicious welcome dinner, wine and fruit. Communication was great - fast and nice. If we go to Evia again, it's only to Maria and Thimios!

Just incredible!and the location and the house! Exactly what you need for vacation!the house..awesome!!! it wasn't lacking in TPT, you didn't have to! The kids had a great time!and I won't comment on the place,the view…every night we stayed a balcony until 3-4 in the morning gazing at the place! we will definitely go again!

Five stars to Isidoro for its such thoughtful home and hospitality. The house was super clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. Isidoros was extremely hospitable and made our stay very easy with the detailed instructions he gave us and the snacks he left us. The view from the top floor is spectacular and he stole the show, as it "sees" the theater of Seta and the mountains, while when we sat in the garden we received a visit from the very very friendly cats of the village. ps. Seta was the perfect base for us to explore the area.

Great place! I visited it with our husband and 4 children and it was like home! Comfortable spaces! The kids were playing safely inside and outdoors! It had all the necessities! Great and discreet hosts! It has toys for the kids, which has helped us a lot to keep them busy. 3 comfortable adjacent beds and has a railing for younger children as well! Easy access, nice area and quiet! I highly recommend it!

Very private relaxing place. Out of the way of busy parts, but only 5 minutes drive from a seaside drive with plenty of restaurants. the lounge and kitchen was very spacious with everything needed. Pool was great especially for kids. The pool cleaner arrived once to test and clean the pool. Nice big tv but WiFi wasn't great so download find etc first. Easy drive from the airport and a beautiful view from the beach round the corner. Plenty of supermarkets within walking distance. Would definitely visit again!
