Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Central Texas

Wonderful people. They made my Christmas for myself and my kids. Warming environment, welcoming, fully accommodating. We shared amazing conversation, great breakfast, I wish I had more time to have spent there!

I recently stayed in a delightful tiny home on Airbnb, and it was everything I could have hoped for—cozy, charming, and full of character. The space was perfectly quaint, with thoughtful decor that made it feel welcoming and peaceful. Despite being compact, the tiny home was surprisingly comfortable, offering a perfect blend of function and warmth. There was a small issue with my original booking, but it was an unpreventable circumstance. The host was incredibly understanding and communicated everything clearly, offering me a smooth alternative by suggesting the Blue Aggie. I really appreciated their kindness and the effort to ensure my stay was still a great experience. I also love the mission behind this tiny home—it’s refreshing to support a place with values that resonate with me. As someone who is conscious of where I spend, staying here felt like a thoughtful choice. I would absolutely love to return to stay in Kasita in the future.

Der Stall made my boyfriend and I’s anniversary weekend! The privacy was exactly what we were looking for, and Susan gave so many helpful recommendations that made planning what we wanted to do that much easier. We spent our entire first night looking through the history in the space and listening to all of the CDs they had! The sweet treats Susan left us were very thoughtful and we loved the food. We would definitely stay here again!

The space was very quiet, peaceful and calming. I enjoyed looking out the windows in the morning at the trees swaying in the wind. The bed and couch (which can turn into a bed) were very comfortable and the unique quality of the property and unit are a huge part of the fun factor. I liked the short rocky trek, I liked the serene green space, and I liked the cabin retreat vibe of the place. Hosts were clear and communicative with regard to my questions and I felt like the enjoyment I had was a fair exchange for the price I paid.

Loved our stay at The Riverwalk Inn. I liked that we were on the river, but in a more quiet area. We could easily go find the lovely parts of the river and city, but then go back to a quiet and peaceful room. Walking along the river was beautiful. Our room was bright, clean and comfortable. Loved that we had a mini fridge to hold our leftovers, and keep water chilled. The bedding was cozy, and my towels were plush! Would highly recommend staying here.

Tina and Tull went above and beyond any airbnb host we've ever had. They actually put the second 'b' in airbnb. We were only there for one night. We checked in (they had made fresh chocolate chip cookies for us) and spent the rest of our day at a wedding. The next morning Tina made us a breakfast of fresh fruit, waffles, scones and scrambled eggs. We only live an hour and a half away, so we're thinking the next time we want to get out into the hill country we know where we're going to stay.

This is a very charming cottage located behind the larger house. It feels a bit like a beach cabana, surrounded by a large courtyard with lots of places to sit and talk. The king-size bed is comfy and there is even a small side bedroom which we didn't use. Perhaps the best part was dining at the amazing La Fonda on Main, which is only a block and a half away. Upscale Mexican cuisine with an inviting outside porch for dining. It made for a wonderful evening.

We loved staying at Blair House Inn. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. The spa was amazing also. We just fell in love with everything.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful country home, and I must say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the stunning surroundings and the immaculate cleanliness of the property. Jimmy truly went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. My host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that all of my needs were met. I appreciated the breakfast items that were set out in the morning and the availability of coffee and a variety of teas. Not only was this country home itself a haven of tranquility and comfort, but the host's warm and welcoming nature added to the comfort and peacefulness of the home . I felt like a valued guest throughout my stay. I cannot recommend this Airbnb host enough. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning country setting, this is the place.

This was a weird wknd as I was going to surprise friends and sneak into town! The surprise was on me! They were in Vegas! Though I did not stay, Bridget was a perfect host with a cool place and easy location!

Christina was a lovely host with a beautiful house! She was very quick to respond and worked with me for an early check in which was SO appreciated. Next time I make a trip out here, I’ll definitely reach out to her first 🙂

Our stay at the Penoli B&B was fabulous. Debi was a great hostess and provided history of the town along with places to visit and the best restaurants in town. Will plan to stay here again. Thank you

Super sweet place with serene views and sunsets. Great place to stay, especially when you need a place for horse shows in Kosse.

Fantastic! Incredibly clean, room was comfortable, and entire inn was peaceful. It felt like home despite being a one night stay. The breakfast provided, while simple, was delicious — the banana nut bread was the best I’ve ever had. Hosts communicated well, and I actually met Brent on the way out, incredibly friendly. I look forward to coming back next year.

Brian’s place was a great find! A beautiful space that has everything you need (especially if you need an EV charge)—close to downtown but it doesn’t feel that way. Would book here again for sure.

Perfect spot for a quick getaway! Quick drive to Main Street and had everything we needed.

Doug and Jenny were fabulous hosts, down to earth good folks. They did a great job making you feel comfortable in their house. Any future trips to Luckenbach or Fredericksburg will include a stay at the Full Moon Inn if available. Stan and Kelly have a wonderful litte room to spend the night in. Everything inside was beautiful, clean, and very pleasant (and probably hand made by one of them). They're on a great piece of land and were helpful with getting me there and checked in.
