Cottage holiday rentals in Central Manitoulin

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Richard's cottage near Kagawong. It is a large, open space with lots of seating, beds and amenities. The home has been beautifully renovated with lots of great art and furnishings. Although the weather wasnt great during our stay, we still enjoyed the beach, which is easily accessible. There are plenty of heating and cooling options to customize the temp in bedrooms and common spaces. Richard ensured there were plenty of supplies so it was easy to cook and stay in his beautiful home, even with young children. The cottage is about 15 minutes to Kagawong in a quiet neighbourhood. Honestly, the pictures don't do the view justice. We hope to be back soon!!

We all enjoyed our stay, had a wonderful time. Kitchen was well equipped. The only thing I can recommend is lighting the stairway so you can see your way down the stairs at night without having to use a flashlight. So maybe some LED's under the stairs.

We stayed here for three nights with my husband, our two young children and two dogs, and we fell in love with the house and the location. The view of the water from the cottage was absolutely stunning. We went during the off season, so things were quiet, which was just what we wanted. The grocery store was only a quick drive away, as well as Bruce National Park. Our kids are already asking to go back. We will definitely plan another trip here in the future!

Thank you for a great space to retreat to for our family. The view was great. A fire place to roast marshmallows was a nice experience for my kids.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentina’s place! The house was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the location near the lake was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. My family, our dog Buddy (a black Standard Poodle), and I truly enjoyed our time there. Valentina is an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions—like removing shoes indoors—which we also do at home, and it definitely contributes to how clean everything is. The firewood sauna was a great experience. Although the hot tub jets weren’t working during our stay, but it was also pleasent in the chilly evenings Overall, it was a fantastic stay !

We had an incredible time at this Airbnb. If you’re looking for a relaxing, remote experience, look no further. We enjoyed the hot tub, the comfortable beds and soft linens, beautiful forest for walks, and the fire pit for evening fires. I imagine during the warmer months it’s really nice to enjoy the lake as well which is right across the road. We had a really nice time and would definitely return. Thank you Mike and Meng!

Great Location Very Unique for The Bruce Peninsula Area. The Cottage Has Everything you need. Amazing Sunsets with Lots Of Different Types of Birds. Open Sky with All The Stars. I recommend going when the weather is warmer so you can enjoy the water. Thanx Wanda

The house is a bit old, but overall very cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the outdoor fire pit—such a nice surprise to find that the host had already prepared firewood for us, which made our stay even more enjoyable! The location is fantastic, especially if you're planning a trip to Flowerpot Island—it's very close. It's also right next to Singing Sands Beach, which is super convenient. The host was very friendly and responsive, always happy to answer any questions we had. We really appreciated the hospitality!

We had a lovelytwo night stay at Carolyn's place. It was so peaceful and set in the most beautiful surroundings looking over the lake. Carolyn and Daryl were so welcoming and friendly and left us some delicious cakes that were very welcome after a long drive to get to Kilarney. They were incredibly helpful too when we had an issue with our car. Carolyn gave us some good recommendations for walks and we'd definitely recommend the 5 mile walk to The Crack. Really enjoyed our stay.

We had such an amazing getaway. We used their recommendations to book our activities and they did not disappoint us. The host responds very quickly and is very accommodating. Fantastic cottage and place to stay. It was immaculate and beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had everything you needed. The location was peaceful, with a great sunset view and incredibly quiet! Christa was very responsive, friendly, and helpful, but also just let us have our space to enjoy. We were so thankful for the time we had there.

This cottage was amazing! My boyfriend and I loved it, we didn’t want to leave! The cottage was very clean, it was a great spot on the water. The hosts are very nice and respond in a timely manner. I highly recommend Will and Sue’s cottage for your next get away!

We spent one week here during our first ever visit to Tobermory and we could not have been happier with our selection of Stuart’s place. From booking till checkout he was quick to respond to our inquiries and helpful in suggesting places to see and provide recommendations. The house is a cute home located right across the street from the harbour and a short walk to the Tugs where we spent our free time scuba diving. The location is absolutely amazing for first timers like us that want to see the town, walk the trails and discover the underwater sights. Inside the house is anything we needed for our stay and it provided us a relaxing home base and quiet nights sleep. The ability to tie our dogs to the provided lines just outside the main door was super helpful too. They loved watching the people walk up the street and were sure to greet passing dogs. Definitely a great place to stay, if visiting Tobermory. Thanks again!

This was my second time staying at Mountain trout camp, and I can't say enough great things about it. Would absolutely recommend to families or couples. If you love solitude, or just need a place to get away from all the hustle, this is the place to stay! The host, and staff, are great, and made the experience smooth.

I had a fantastic time, the cottage was fantastic and the view was spectacular. I definitely would like to return next year. I also highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs to relax and get away!

My friends and I had the pleasure of staying at EVA's location. The living space was in incredible condition and the view from outside was even more beautiful. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would most definitely look to book here again in the future to enjoy in the later months of the year. We stayed at Stuga on the Rock at the end of September for 2 nights. It was a fantastic place to stay. Tara has thought of everything and she communicated very easily with us. We enjoyed the waterfront location, beautiful sunsets, kayaking and swimming. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. This place is magic and 5 min from downtown Tobermory! We all would definitely come again.
