Unique stay in a beautiful setting! The owners have renovated the church, keeping many authentic elements, nice though! Lots of space, both inside and outside. And yes...it is "simple" but therefore also special! Good beds too. Warm welcome, nothing more to wish for...just enjoy! Thank you!!

Nice spacious house. Herbs, coffee and tea provided to easily use the kitchen. Comfy, lots of options and explanation. Be mindful of low doorways. The church bells were very easy for us.

The attic is the perfect place for a break! On foot you are right in the forest /in fields for walking and doing sports. Würzburg is super close and reachable in 20 minutes by car. Almut was able to give us many tips for restaurants and cafes. It was super quiet and we were able to fully enjoy the garden. There are countless seating options and cozy places in the countryside. You feel like you're in your own park. The apartment is perfectly equipped, the bed is comfortable and you are very romantically awakened by the rising sun. Everything is clean, well maintained and very nicely decorated! Even on a rainy day, the streaming accounts don't get boring. The church is beautifully developed, it is a very special and great place to stay. Matthias and Almut were always available. We heard a lot about the church and the surrounding area through them. It was the perfect Airbnb stay! Thank you! :)

A special place, can still be spooky in the evening. I recommend traveling as a couple:)

We had a very nice stay in the beautiful church! A special location, which has been given beautiful shape while maintaining all kinds of details of the church itself. We were warmly welcomed by Mila, who showed us everything. With our dog we could easily walk a bit overlooking the countryside. It was pretty hot, but in the church it stayed wonderfully cool. Only the bedroom warmed up a lot, as it is on the sunny side. The cottage has all the comforts, very nice. We have enjoyed it and recommend it to everyone!

My first night ever in Monastery! And I never slept better, in my entire life. It’s like to be covered by comfy smooth blanket full of calming and warm energy. Went there actually to pray for peace in the world. Hope it will happen! All place is magic, people are extremely kind and warm (information office, checking, waiter in coffee where we had breakfast. ). Room is simple, but with love to detail (roses paper in the drawer, little embroidered crosses on bed sheets). It’s truly remarkable, spiritual, beautiful experience. 1 days is too little- stay longer!

The place met my expectations, we loved the sensitive restoration of the historical spaces. I find the location of the apartment above the night bar unfortunate. But the coffee at the bar was delicious. This place will definitely be a good fit for young people.
