Cabinas Orosi (Camper)

I stayed in the cabin. I loved the place, it really is such a quiet and relaxing place, the sun comes in in the morning by the terrace and it's beautiful. The location is excellent, close to downtown, public transport and still, super quiet. Great wifi for work. Fredy is too friendly, always available. I'll definitely be back :)

Super quiet and beautiful for the type of accommodation it is, it is a little long from Manuel Antonio but it is well worth it for the tranquility and privacy.

Nirvana Beach Home

FranciniRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an unforgettable experience at Fede's beautiful property. It was a family trip with several children, who enjoyed every corner to the fullest. As a mother, I felt completely calm thanks to the safety of the place, which is felt in every detail. The proximity to the sea is a gift: the sound of the waves accompanied us like a natural lullaby throughout the stay. One of the treasures of the place is a majestic Guanacaste tree, a national symbol of Costa Rica. Its shade is a delightful refuge, a true lung that renews the air and invites us to stop, breathe and breathe and connect. It was our favorite place to rest and share. Fede was always attentive, with a kind and respectful presence that made us feel at home. Definitely a place we want to return to. Thank you so much!

Camper van with AC in Santa Teresa

EricRating, 5 stars51 months ago
The El Chante Surf House was an awesome place to stay for our group of 8 (max capacity is 10 with everyone is sharing a bed). It's a 5 min walk to Playa Hermosa, which is absolutely beautiful and less crowded than others in the area. The pool area is amazing, with hammocks and string lights for nighttime hangs. We did surf lessons and board rentals with the host, Fernando, which was a ton of fun (tried surfing a few times before, and this was the best experience by far). The only cons are that it's located a 10-15 min. drive from the restaurants and bars of Santa Teresa (so it's definitely not walking distance, which can be an issue if you're looking to go drinking/partying), and clean drinking water is not provided (which was especially annoying when we arrived at night and the stores were closed). Overall, we had a great time at El Chante and would definitely stay again.

GLAMPING! Jungle Camper ~ A Rainforest Hideaway

CathyaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My boyfriend and I had an incredible glamping experience in the jungle in this converted RV right under the airplane wings in the El Avion resort. The place was really cozy, the AC worked really well and we had monkey friends come and visit often. I loved hearing the nature sounds at night and it was lovely that it rained while we were there too because it made for a serene night in. We enjoyed being close to the adults only bar / pool area and being walking distance to many restaurants. This place was magical and feels like you have your own slice of paradise. Love this unique stay and definitely recommend.

Laura is an extraordinary person, we are so happy to have met her. Her smile, her energy, her sharing, is a ray of sunshine. Sharing the same passion for sport as my son, it was a treat. Simply just WOW. We'll be back as soon as possible. Thank you so much for all the wonderful moments we've spent together.

Bakkatown Belize Tralapa, Casita on the seafront

DaleRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I loved my stay. The location was perfect. Walkable to everything. I didn’t need to take a taxi once. The trailer is so cozy and clean. Great wifi, hot water, AC, kitchen amenities. It felt secure. I was a little uneasy the first night with the lack of curtains on the doors (meaning that people can see right in to the kitchen/living room area) and the fellow that lives in a boat right out front, but after the first night any trepidation was gone. I would stay again and cannot recommend it enough.

Roam to be Wild Campervan Costa Rica

BlakeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Van Life PURA VIDA style was an amazing experience! We were able to see a lot of the country, explore, and create our own adventure! The van handled the roads well and never let us down. Had all the necessary amenities we needed for what we were looking to do and use it for. It was like our home base for our 14 days exploring Costa Rica! The hosts were great and were flexible for pick up and drop off which was very nice. The solar power and water helped so much and were very nice to have. The small kitchen and fridge also came in handy, we didn't do much cooking but for washing hands, brushing teeth, making coffee, it was key! Only drawbacks would be that the van could use a couple minor upgrades and improvements to make it an even better experience for guests. Overall, it was awesome, and we are very glad we decided to go the van route to get the flexibility we were looking for! We made a ton of unforgettable memories along the way in this sweet little van and you will too!

Aurora Bus Home (Pink)

Loved our stay in this little slice of paradise in nature! An experience to do if you want to live the jungle life with the monkeys, birds, etc. A 4x4 is more than necessary given the condition of the roads to get there but it is part of the experience. Thanks again to Sebastian who always has summer available.

1973 Airstream: 5-min walk to beach

EvanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Outstanding experience. The place has an excellent location, just minutes from the beach and many restaurants and amenities. It was clean, well-appointed for its size, and had everything I needed for a two week stay. Jack was very responsive to my questions, and even made some arrangements for me due to the extended stay. The AC might be loud for some (I didn’t mind), so maybe bring earplugs if that’s a concern. Highly recommended, and I hope to return in the future.

Aurora Bus Home (Yellow)

StephanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is such a special place to stay. We loved the novelty of staying in a 'designer' bus and couldn't believe the beautiful surroundings. The jungle is gorgeous - vibrant, lush and teeming with life. The howler monkeys visited us a few times and we felt so lucky to observe them so closely. The bus is very neat and well-organized. We used the kitchen to cook some meals and it had all the amenities we needed. The common pool area is lovely and inviting. The hosts were fantastic and addressed all our questions quickly. It's important to recognize that this place is quite deep in the jungle. The road is not easy to drive on (you need a 4x4). Also, it may not be ideal for visitors who are worried about bugs. The place is spotless but it's not suited for those who are too squeamish about ants and having other insects around. Bring bug spray! Make sure to use Waze for directions to the bus. Google Maps does not show where to turn off. Look for the street light on the side road.

The OPAM Camper

AshleyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My fiancé and I had such an incredible time at OPAM Camper that we extended from 4 weeks to 6. Pamela was a great host - anything we needed, she had. She also just seems like a genuine and fun person. I’m almost sad we didn’t see her more (said no Airbnb guest ever). The camper is so unique. We saw white-faced monkeys, howler monkeys, iguanas, geckos, tree frogs, parrots, bats - even had a horse pop by a couple times. The neighing, jungle sounds, and ocean whoosh are unreal. Neighbours were great, quiet - it’s pretty secluded (which I wasn’t sure about when I booked). I was also nervous working remotely here - but the wifi was excellent, and the A/C gets cold when you need it. Being forced to eat alfresco brought us closer together. Just hits different than at home. One ask: give some love to the two collarless dogs from down the hill. We called them Trooper and Poncho but found out they’re Melon and Tomatoe. Sweetest duo, anxious in storms. They stole our hearts. 10/10 stay

The Nomad Dream - Bus Tortuga

CamilaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
For a long time I wanted to try the experience of staying on a bus, and with my husband and baby we had a great time! The jacuzzi outside with the rain of Cahuita gave it a special touch. The bus as it is distributed inside, it is very comfortable. In the morning the birds are fluttering and we saw green ranitas with black from the window. Beautiful natural environment where the Nómada Dream is located. I recommend this place!

Bus los Guanacastes House

RobRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Rodrigo and his family were great hosts and attentive to our needs and the occasional issue that arose. For longer stays suggest it best to have a 4wd as some of the roads aren’t paved and you do get a little limited if you want to eat out with the options close by. Saying that some of the local cafes and restaurants are great. They’ve made great use of the space in the bus and the shaded deck outside is great to listen to the sounds of nature plus gives some protection from the sun. The aircon cools the sleeping area well and with careful positioning of the fans the rest of the bus can be made comfortable. The bed is very firm but a second sleeping area is a little softer so choose depending on your preference of firmness and temperature. The kitchen is basic so access to local places to eat is important as cooking anything other than basics is challenging and hot. Happy to recommend and would stay again knowing what it offers and how great the hosts are.
