My wife and i spent one night of our honeymoon at Ronan's b&b and we had a great evening. The jacuzzi tub and movie screen was very relaxing after a long day. The birds and hummingbirds were beautiful to watch and listen too. I highly recommend this host as everything was clean and set up nice. Local restaurants also deliver which was a bonus. WIll definitely return in the future.

This cabin was beautiful, and exactly how it was described. We had a great 2 night stay, everything in town was easily accessible. The hot tub on the balcony was so nice with a great view. David was also very kind and responsive! This place is definitely a 10/10

Roy's place was the best!! Very close to La Fortuna yet it was tucked away and peaceful. The hot tub was awesome to have and there were all kinds of beautiful birds in the backyard throughout the day. Roy himself was great too! He made us some delicious margaritas at his bar the night we got there and brought us a fresh pot of coffee from his house when we realized our coffee maker wasn't working. He also replaced the machine later that day! Couldn't recommend this place more!

My husband and I stayed here for almost a week, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Costa Rica. The property is nestled in a secluded, private area that feels like your own little hideaway in nature. It’s perfect for a romantic escape. It gave off such a peaceful, treehouse-like vibe, and everything was beautifully clean and well maintained. One of our favorite features was the balcony with the jacuzzi, perfect for relaxing in the evenings while taking in the views. The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and offered great local recommendations, including a few nearby restaurants we really enjoyed. While it’s about a 30-minute drive from downtown La Fortuna, we honestly didn’t mind it at all. The tranquility and beauty of the property more than made up for the distance, and we’d absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat.

This place is awesome. Secluded yet right by everything. The tree frogs come out at night and sing you to sleep and the tropical birds awake you in the morning. There is a bit of a construction site near by, so a bit of noise if you like to sleep in, but nothing too major. You can walk anywhere in town that is necessary, but we had a car and found parking easy and convenient. Host was responsive the whole time and extremely helpful. The hot tub made this place feel truly amazing. 10/10 recommend

This place was perfect for our family of four. It’s up away from tourist areas and right next to a rainforest area you can explore with a great swimming hole. We saw monkeys and toucans and tons of birds. The views were incredible and the house itself was so clean and comfortable. This is by far the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. For us, having 4 wheel drive was helpful in getting up and down the hill especially in the rain.

This was such a beautiful place and I had such an amazing experience staying here follow me on TikTok dejoimakena (she was so nice and helpful) this Airbnb is only 20 mins from Antigua city it is very close to the hobbit by like 5 mins and close to Antigua boreal which is the longest slide. The dogs are nice and the people are too.. I would recommend booking this . It’s so clean and relaxing (also the shower pressure is not strong but it gets the job done and it has hot water)

What an amazing place! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Communication was great, fast responses that were always helpful. Being right in the jungle was an incredible experience for us. We highly recommend the walk down to the river. The place is a birders paradise. We saw and heard so many different birds, well over 20 different species! The second afternoon we were sitting in the deck and suddenly heard a troop of howler monkeys not too far away. We walked down the road 100 yards or so and found them in two trees. We watched for a while as they napped and played. We did two tours nearby with the guide they recommended Jhonny’s Magical Nature Tours and he was such an amazing guide! Definitely book one or several tours with him. The road it’s on is gravel and a bit bumpy, just go slow and you’ll be fine. It didn’t seem like AWD or 4x4 is needed, a sedan would do okay. It’s rocky and not dirt we drove it in heavy rain and it was not an issue.

This home was one of my favorites I’ve been to. The open air concept was so unique. My husband and I loved relaxing on the hammocks listening to the sounds of the rainforest surrounding us. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the week stay. Mosh was great and very responsive. He showed us around the home when we got there and even made suggestions on stuff to do in the area. The people from the community were very friendly and welcoming and we loved playing with the local pups in the area. This is the place that you want to be if you love and appreciate nature and are looking to relax and unwind. We also loved hiking to the river and waterfalls.

I can't say enough about this stay. Shekeria and her family were so generous and welcoming toward us. The photos are beautiful, but the actual experience is unbelievable. We were treated so kindly by Shekeria, the driver she arranged for us, Dexter, and the other locals we met while there, including Omar at the jerk chicken place down the road. Shekeria and her mother's cooking is remarkable -- we recommend!! This is a stay in the Carribean like nothing else. The private water access is beautiful and not hard to get to if you can do stairs. Crystal water and sunsets. The family's gardens are pristine and full of color and birds -- we saw the Jamaican national bird, the Doctor Bird, while there, and mangrove trees and several other wondrous bits of nature. Bluefields Beach is not far, too, but we found we really loved being right where we were. This is a special place. So, so grateful that we got to experience it.

Emmanuel’s place was great. The house is in a beautiful location, close to the Poas Volcano, which is closed to the public due to volcanic activity. We were still able to find fun activities in the area. The home feels inviting and has everything you need, including extra blankets, as the nights did get chilly in June.

What an incredible getaway at Las Cumbres! It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The place is absolutely stunning, and the cabin exceeded all our expectations! There’s so much to explore nearby, making it an adventure-filled retreat. Our stay was simply delightful, and the host delivered outstanding service that truly made our experience unforgettable. It was a brilliant stay with everything we needed and great communication. The plunge pool, sauna and net on the deck were big winners. Just do be advised since photos have been taken there is a bit of growth of plants around the property and a new house built next door. Also Nicolas does live on the property out the back who takes care, he is lovely and stays out of the way completely but just a heads up. Had everything we needed but would advise bringing food to cook as it is a bit out of town so having some meals at the place is recommended and a must with the view. Definitely wake up early to watch the stunning sun rises. Thanks for the stay

Jose’s place was just like the pictures, incredible! It really feels like you are in the middle of the jungle, you can hear all of the different types of animals, it’s amazing!

Vista Linda house is exactly what the listing shows. An amazing yard and pool the best view ever. Only 20 minutes into La Fortuna, it’s close enough but still feels like a secluded getaway. We had one small issue come up, but the host responded to us and solved it in about 10 minutes. He really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as close to perfect as possible.

This was a once in a lifetime stay! I cannot stress how important it is that you stay here when you come through to Costa Rica. The sunset was a one in 1 billion experience. Jorge was so nice and I felt like I was part of his family.

WOW! We loved our stay!! The rolling hills of hydrangeas were absolutely gorgeous, and we enjoyed some lightning bugs and beautiful views of the city in the distance. The cabin was spotless and comfortable. We felt super safe and loved the little wood stove. The area is so fun too! Adrian had some great local recommendations for us. My wife and I chose this unit for our honeymoon, the space was extremely beautiful and lush. The giant windows opening up into the La fortuna jungle was breathtaking. We spent every evening in the jacuzzi listening to the wildlife and sounds of La fortuna. Fernando had great recommendations and was very friendly. We’re looking forward to returning to this special place.
