Had a lovely stay here - the hosts were very welcoming. The room was nice and clean and had AC. The food was lovely too! We got an Uber here but would really recommend having a rental car if you’re visiting. There isn’t too much to do within walking distance so you are a bit restricted without a car. We were looking to chill out so wasn’t an issue for us but something to bear in mind!

I recommend it 100% , it's a very quiet , very nice place. Everything is super clean. If 4×2 cars come in. Paola has excellent service , I liked it and I recommend it and the fruit trees are excellent!

Good place to retire from the city and enjoy with friends, family and co-workers. Moses was a very good host, helped us in many things with the oven and kitchen and also participated a few times in our activities and enjoyed the whole group with his smile. The facilities are missing a bit of maintenance, but we understand that the pandemic affects the entire sector, but I know they will fix it for it to be 100%.

The place is a beauty very well according to the photographs, excess cleanliness of the place . untouched facilities, the only point to improve is that the day we went there were many flies and that will affect us the event . Exceptional customer service and communication.

Our stay at the place was great. A spacious nice place, very clean, with all amenities. A pleasant, quiet and private environment without a doubt we would stay there again.

Thank you Debbie and Royce! Had a great time exploring the farm and the surrounding area - beautiful house in a truly remote spot to really feel true Costa Rica lifestyle, beautiful volcano views. Place is a little hard to get to but talking to Debbie was very easy and the directions were very clear, always fast response. Will definitely be back! Hope next time (I'll be back in about a year) you have those baby goats you were talking about.

This rental offers an absolutely unique and pleasurable experience. It's like renting a hacienda with a pool in the Garden of Eden. Each morning the hosts brought us a variety of exotic fruits and veggies straight from their plantation. The house was immaculately clean and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable, AC worked great. Les is an exceptional host! He was very attentive and fulfilled each and every request we had. He stocked up our fridge with food. He organized a monkey river tour at half the price. He provided detailed information about the area, things to do and explore, suggested best restaurants and offered to make reservations. He was “on call” for us 24/7. We couldn’t ask for more. Most afternoons we were out exploring or playing in the pool, which is brand new and gorgeous. P.S. The photos do not do this place justice. Things are bigger and more spread out in person. We are definitely coming back!

My family and I had a great stay here! The location is absolutely gorgeous. Pérez Zeledón is magical…you just need to go, but bring four wheel drive (steep dirt roads). The apartment is spacious with very high ceilings. We felt right at home. The hostess Teresita is lovely and I had the opportunity to practice my spanish. She has a little restaurant across the street where you can purchase a delicious home cooked meal. The dog that lives on the property is really sweet and enjoyed hanging out with us at breakfast time. My son really loved her (and he is usually afraid of dogs, so that is saying something). There are 2 beds and a fold out couch/chair that fit 4 of us perfectly. The balconies in the morning are amazing with views of the hillside, valley and jungle. The birds activity is insanely wonderful. I thought the kitchen could have used a little less plastic and more wood/stainless steel options, but Teresita brought us what we needed, so all good!

very nice place, the attention of Carlos and as a girl Alicia, the rooms are very clean and spacious the place in its total clean and it is something that I really liked, the truth if I recommend it.

Everything is good. The boy is Gerardo is very good and very kind, only how young should they put a ke indentique beach uniform on the ranch just as a suggestion but that is for all the ranches of the place

Our visit to Rancho Don Carlitos was simply an exceptional experience. The facilities far exceeded our expectations, especially the pool, which turned out to be a true oasis. The owner's kindness and attention was a key factor in making our stay so enjoyable; her warmth and willingness made us feel at home. Undoubtedly we had an amazing time and hope we will have the opportunity to enjoy this excellent place again soon.
