Beautiful inside and the views are spectacular! Gorgeous mountains in one direction and the city lights in the other. The house is large and a very comfortable place for an extended family to spread out when they want to and come together when they want to. We especially appreciated the many places to sit and dine and the fireplaces. It was a real treat to stay here in such a beautiful house in such a beautiful place. One note that I would make is that the mattresses on all of the beds are VERY FIRM and if you have really small children, the stairs may be an issue. Neither was an issue for us, but I thought I'd mention it. Overall, I would highly, highly recommend this home!

Carter's place was absolutely perfect for what we needed. I met my kids who live in New Mexico and Ohio there and they loved it as well. Carter's home is very nice and a great spot peaceful and clean. It is just outside of town so it is nice and quiet. There is a store close by and a restaurant as well but everything is in driving distance to Albuquerque and Edgewood. I would absolutely stay at Carter's place again.

Eric was an amazing host. He was very responsive to any questions we had. The location was in the country and the casita had lovely artistic details. It was very comfortable and had great fenced in areas for our dog. If you are looking for a great getaway place in the country and yet close to the city, this is the place for you.

The property strikes an excellent balance of feeling secluded but still being close enough to the city to make it easily accessible. Star gazing at night is not to be missed! Diana was also a great host and was very communicative during our stay..

There were 12 of us, my family, my sister's family and my niece's family. Our youngest member is 2. This house was perfect for us. The house was thoughtfully put together. Plenty of bathroom, pool and kitchen towels. Three livings areas and several outdoor spaces. We never felt crammed together. There were appropriate toys even for the 2 yr old. Lots for the older kids to do too. A couple of our teenagers skipped a day of going into Santa Fe because they were having do much fun at the house. Kitchen was well appointed and although not a huge amount of counter space, we had no problem cooking meals for the 12 of us. I also loved that the checkout procedures were easy and quick. We would love to go back anytime. I should also add that William was great and answered my messages in less than a minute.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect! The house was perfect and matched everything in the description and even exceeded our expectations. The neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and peaceful and added to such an amazing stay! If and when we return to Albuquerque, this will definitely be one of, if not the first, stays we hope to do again!

Amazing Old Town Getaway

Amazing deal for the cost. Walkable to Old Downtown, Botanical Garden, Aquarium and river walk natural area. Clean, quiet and comfortable accomodations for a party of 7. Kitchen had everything we needed to pre meals easily and dishwasher made clean up easy. Would definitely rent this home again when in the area.

Whitney & David have created very BEST Airbnb experience I’ve ever stayed in‼️ Their adobe home is quintessential New Mexico with an amazing vibe, objects d’art, welcome gifts & amenities; they have thought of EVERYTHING‼️ The location is absolutely fantastic. I am a walker and being able to walk the neighborhoods to get to restaurants, cafes, galleries and groceries is a huge plus. The neighborhood is beautiful and extremely quiet. Between the luxurious bed & linens, I slept deeply. Moreover, Whitney & David are very responsive, kind and generous with their time giving lots of suggestions and pro-tips.
