We really enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly. We really liked the place! It was a perfect base for our hikes. Clean, warm and with a well equipped kitchen. A place where we could happily flop on the sofa after a long day out. Many thanks to Charlotte and Stuart!

Lovely compact place in the middle of Castleton within 2 minutes of the High Street. Louis has taken care to ensure you have everything you require for a short stay, the bathroom was great with a brilliant shower over a Japanese bath which was a unique feature. We were lucky with the weather so the bistro table outside was a bonus. Great communication with Louis, all in all we loved our stay here.

Lovely cottage in great location. Lots within walking distance - castle, four caverns and great walks - Winnats Pass, Mam Tor, Lose Hill, Cave Dale. We also enjoyed visiting Bamford and Stanage edges by car. We enjoyed meals at Dolly's Tea Room, The George and Cheshire Cheese. Would recommend as a great place for a family of four to stay to experience the best of Peak District.

We absolutely loved staying here! The location is fantastic, a very short walk away from local amenities and the view from the living room bay window is beautiful. I was absolutely desperate to get away to the hills with my family and disconnect from work and this beautiful cottage was the perfect place to stay. We had wonderful days out walking the hills and exploring the caverns, and in the evenings we lit the wood burning stove and sat in front of it playing games and planning our walking routes for the next day. The cottage itself was immaculate inside, and we loved the interior design. Ruth was a very helpful host, super responsive and gave us plenty of guidance on how to find the cottage and recommendations for where to eat etc. Overall, I highly recommended!
