Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Beautiful royal-village cottage with wood-burner

Eastmost Cottage is in a wonderful position on the edge of the historic village of Falkland. It's a short walk from the fine Renaissance Falkland Palace, the heart of the medieval village with its independent shops, cafes restaurants and pub. There is great walking in the Lomond hills, accessible on foot. The wonderful Covenanter has great food all day; the Hayloft and Pillars of Hercules are lovely cafes. The Stag is a lovely bistro (our fav). Fine dining at the Boar's Head in Auchtermuchty.

Luxury River View Farm Cottage + Dog Friendly

Enjoy stunning views over the River Tay from a luxury countryside base (35 mins to St Andrews & 50 mins to Edinburgh). Old Parkhill at Hyrneside is a beautifully restored 3 bed farm cottage, featuring a stylish open plan space, designer kitchen, wood stove and heated polished concrete floors. Relax in marble washrooms, one with a clawfoot bath, the other a walk-in shower. French doors open out to a courtyard dining area + pizza oven, fire pit and acres of farmland, forest + trails to explore.

Harbour Hill Cottage

Harbour Hill is a single storey cottage, situated on a working farm in the picturesque Pentland Hills, only 1 mile from local amenities & public transport in Currie & 6 miles from Edinburgh City Centre. It has a large, enclosed garden with private driveway & spectacular views of the hills & surrounding farmland. It is the perfect location to enjoy outdoor pursuits or explore Edinburgh & central Scotland, with most major attractions less than an hour away. 2 Nights minimum stay. Sorry no pets.

Log Cabin in Auchtertool.

The Log Cabin is situated in 3 acres of garden, shared only with our own house. Guests are welcome to make use of the garden. The Cabin sleeps five people and we have a travel cot if required. There is one large bedroom with two kingsize and one single beds. The Cabin does not have TV or wifi, however it does have an excellent 4G signal. We welcome well behaved pets, up to a maximum of two small dogs or one large dog, even a cat. We ask guests who bring pets to vacuum before they leave.

The Garden Townhouse

Nestled in our lovely walled garden and situated in the beautiful heritage quarter of our ancient capital Dunfermline, is the Garden Townhouse. Recently refurbished to a luxury and cosy standard, this home from home makes a great base to explore the Kingdom of Fife, Edinburgh, Glasgow and more and placed to access to the Fife Pilgrim Way. Our Townhouse was commissioned in 1875 by local legend and world-famous, Andrew Carnegie and has been stylishly converted into a bright and modern home.

Tiny House in Cosy Village

Dating back to the 1700s, this tiny house had sat empty for over 50 years until George (Heather's son) invested his life savings to completely renovate it to a high standard, while retaining the original character of the building. Sitting below Bishop Hill in the picturesque village of Kinnesswood (2023 joint winner of Britain in Bloom's 'Village' category!), the tiny house is surrounded by breathtaking views, fantastic walks, and an abundance of local farm shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Pitmeadow Farm is situated in quiet countryside with lovely views. We are a small family run farm with pigs, ponies, sheep & chickens. The Steading forms part of our farm courtyard along with the farmhouse and our other holiday property (The Studio). Dunning (1 mile away) is a charming village with an excellent pub, local shop, golf course, tennis courts and a wide variety of walks. Ideal for exploring Scotland, visiting local attractions or just relaxing and recharging.
