Holiday rentals with lake access in Carcans

Exceptional stay! The apartment was spotless, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped. The host was extremely responsive, warm and caring, with delicate touches that made our arrival very pleasant. The neighborhood is quiet, well located, and close to all amenities. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to come back!

Clean, well-equipped, as described. Easy check-in by lock box. Great location for a family stay, close to the children's island and the port of Hourtin, all within walking distance.

Very effective unpretentious but the spaces are well organized , the children loved it. The location is perfect for quick access to lakes and bike paths . We'll be happy to go back

Great short stay for 4 (👨🏼👩🏻👦🏼👶🏼) at Adeline and Léa's. The place isn't very big, but it suits us very well. It is so nicely decorated, and really well appointed/equipped (which really offers comfort). We didn't want for anything during those few days. The outdoor courtyard is a real plus and the room glued to the house allows you to store stroller and other bulky. Communication level: ⭐️ The girls are caring and extremely kind. Very available, they did everything to make sure we had a pleasant stay. The place is perfectly maintained, it was so nice to feel like a brand new place! Quality of toilet linen and shower: ⭐️ (it doesn't have a price after tiring looongues days😁) Great location for families with the Children's Island and the lake just around the corner. Thank you very much!!

We were there at the end of September, due to the weather unfortunately we could not use the beautiful terrace. For hiking and cycling, the area is great, as there are many cycling and hiking trails. If you want to see the surrounding area, you have to drive a lot. Example Cap Ferret 1 hour 10 min. Bordeaux 40 km, duration approx. 1 hour 15 min.

The house met our expectations , we were able to enjoy our stay in my heart area thanks to a quality welcome. Chez Regine everything is there and more. A small exterior overlooking the forest with the birds waking up. We ate outside every day with peace of mind. We'll be happy to go back.

A peaceful setting near Lake Hourtin to enjoy beautiful walks. The house is as described in the listing, nicely remodeled and very functional. We did not have great weather so the hot tub was a real plus, well sheltered in the garden. Eugénie is a very pleasant and responsive host!

A cozy apartment with magnificent lake views. An environment rich in places to discover by bike or on foot. Marc and Marie are welcoming, concerned about the comfort of their tenants.

A cozy, very clean accommodation with fresh and bright decor. Adrien, a very friendly host, gave us all the necessary information for check-in and check-out. The apartment is located in a small town with many useful services, two minutes from a fantastic pine forest (full of delicious mushrooms) .... at the end of it you find a freshwater lake .... a very natural environment !!! Recommended

Very nice accommodation, peaceful, clean, well decorated with a terrace directly overlooking the forest. 5 min from the center, the lake and close to bike paths. It's also well equipped, which is nice when you can't bring your gear. We had a great family stay at Caroline's place and highly recommend her place.

We lived the place and Berenice! She was so kind and helpful. The location was great! We explored and relaxed in her beautiful place. The market is conveniently two doors down too. Such a wonderful place, we’d definitely stay there again.

The host is super friendly, and very quick in responding. She described everything in perfect detail, so we were able to find the place easily (even though we arrived in the dark). Everything at the house was ready and clean, and we enjoyed our quiet time here even though it was for just two days. The place is close to the lake and the walk in the woods is very beautiful. Carole also gave useful tips about where to walk! Overall we really enjoyed our stay & especially how easy it was for us to get there. We traveled with two dogs and two kids, there were lots of fun toys and games for the children and the nature and little beach were perfect for the dogs. Thanks again, Carole!

A PERFECT stay! Before we arrived, Alexis took the time to communicate with us, validate the different points of attention and give us all the information for a serene arrival. When we arrive & during our stay, only good surprises, everything is as described and our expectations: the neighborhood is quiet, easy to access and parking, the garden is cozy and maintained, the house is clean/ tidy/ no smells/ decorated with great taste and personality, the beach and the city center a few steps away, Alexis takes care even from afar! BIG PLUS when traveling with a baby (it may make you laugh, but we've had complicated experiences in the two previous rentals!): the crib is offered by Alexis, with a real mattress. No squeaky doors and hardwood floors and even less ventilation making a loud noise, the house is really very quiet. There is a real children's room closed by a door and with a shutter.

Julien is available, responsive and accommodating and welcoming! We had a lovely stay, close to the lake it was really convenient with the kids. We didn't miss anything, his house is well-equipped.

We had a great time at Jason's place. Hosts are always very responsive if you need them. The pictures didn't make it totally justice to the place that was much more spacious. The pool to cool off was also a great asset with plenty of relaxation around it. Nearby for children with a very provided playroom. The house is quiet and not far from trails for peaceful walks. We would highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay at Corinne's house. A haven of peace, silence. Beautiful layout of the house. Each room has a function and allows for privacy. Very large garden. Trees to find shade. I can only recommend the accommodation, the quality of communication with Corinne. Thanks to Corinne for her flexibility and kindness. If I come back to the area, I won't hesitate to rent the accommodation again.

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice sitting area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it sags too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, it is not far to Bordeaux and there is also a lot to explore in the area.

A huge thank you to Marie for offering us the opportunity to spend a moment out of time in her cottage with breathtaking views, quiet in the middle of vegetation! A real haven of peace, ideally located, perfectly equipped, all with ease to feel at home! The cottage and activities available nearby are perfectly suited for a stay with toddlers! We will be back, for sure!
