Holiday rentals with beach access in Carbis Bay

Our second stay at Geeta’s apartment - location is perfect (so close to the harbour and no hills or steps to walk up from the town) for us with our two young children. The space is spotlessly clean and well equipped. Geeta was a great host with excellent communication. We will be back next year!

I stayed here with my niece for three nights. We both thought the apartment was even nicer than the photos. It’s in a great location, so we left the car in the designated parking space at the station carpark and walked everywhere we wanted to go for the first 2 days, then drove down to Lands End on the third (highly recommended). There’s loads to see and do in St Ive’s and some great restaurants, we loved it there. The apartment was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Michael was only next door and very friendly, he gave some local recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely stay, and was very welcoming to us and my dog too.

What a great find! We’ve been visiting St Ives for many years and happened to notice Anna’s place when our daughter decided not to join us and we looked for somewhere new. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, which exceeded expectations and completely spotless. Everything you need for a totally relaxing stay including some special treats waiting for us on arrival. The photos matched the accommodation perfectly. Great kitchen, really comfortable bed, excellent bathroom and shower, great living room with a smart TV for when you need it. Easy to walk into town and back. It is uphill but from Porthmeor beach takes about 12 minutes to get up and 8 minutes to get down. So many restaurants and bars to choose from. Lovely walks and great scenery. If you’ve not been to St Ives before you must go, and if you’ve are looking for the perfect accommodation then this is it. Oh and did I mention the garage - great for parking the car and essential in St Ives as parking is not easy.

We had the most amazing weather for our stay. Two of us shared the apartment. We discovered various steps to take us to town. The cab to the flat from the station was only £6 and well worth it on the way up! We really enjoyed The Sloop Inn and a restaurant called Silko on the quay St Ives. The best coffee by far was Mount Zion. The flat was really quiet and the beds comfortable. The Spa was really great and the views from the Spa Hotel were great. Lunch there was v tasty and the staff were sympathetic.

An extremely enjoyable weeks holiday helped massively by extremely good weather. The property's location was ideal for our purpose as we were able to walk to the town and avoid using the car. On arrival we received a friendly welcome from Vanessa which extended to practical help as the car was slightly too long for the parking space available. Vanessa immediately made alternative parking arrangements just a few minutes walk away which we were able to use throughout the holiday. We would certainly have extended our stay if we were in a position to do so.

This studio suited us very well. It felt spacious with very cleverly chosen furnishings - lots of storage and a well-equipped kitchen. Susi and Graham's attention to detail and generous supply of things like olive oil, tea and coffee, salt and pepper grinders etc make such a difference the feel of a place - you don't have to waste time shopping for basics. It was spotlessly clean too. It is easy to find and quiet, and the walk down into St Ives is easy (there is always the bus for the return!) Susi and Graham were very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We hope to return soon

Excellent location and a tranquil setting. Property was excatly as described and the views were stunning. Easy walk down to Porthminster beach and into St Ives. Highly recommended and we would stay here again without hesitation.

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

We stayed 3 nights at Tara’s. Absolutely stunning property. Great location….10 minute walk into town and 12 mins to the supermarket. Property had everything you would want for a stay. Big shout out for the fab bathroom…the shower was amazing, and everything was spotless. Highly recommended. Thanks very much for everything Tara. 🙂

Lovely house in quiet square with a pub on the corner! Big kitchen, not that we cooked much as so many great places to eat! We had such a lovely time we extended our stay - twice! Mark was great with dealing with all our questions & requests. Great location, meaning you can walk round town no problem. But having parking permit real bonus, although don't forgot to display as we got a ticket! Also great base for exploring - St Ives, Lands End, Sennen Cove & Newlyn have great Fish 'n' Chips. Eden project is only just over an hour away depending on traffic. We walked across to St Michael's Mount & got a little boat back which was fun. So much to do! All the locals were very friendly and offered recommendations. Will be back as couldn't do everything in a week!

Had a great stay, lovely, clean accommodation. Everything we required for a short break away. Nice walk into St Ives and beaches. Bus route available at the end of the road or easy to call for taxi if required. Would highly recommend. Would definitely book again. Thank you Jenny. Paul & Rachel

A really great place to stay in Newlyn. Wonderfully comfortable bed and delightful designer furnishings and kitchen. Great value for money.

We were a family of 3 with a small dog. Plenty of garden to play in and was fully secure. Location was brilliant, we caught the train to most beaches which are all less than 11 minutes away.

We had a lovely week in Emily & Matt's flat. We liked that you can walk into town but also to Fistral beach & quieter areas. Great views - I enjoyed relaxing, reading in the bay window. I treated myself to swim & breakfast at Headland hotel (special offer).

The apartment suited us perfectly. It was walkable to some shops and eateries in Hayle, and also a good location to visit other places in Cornwall like St Ives. We had a great stay and would come back.

We were lucky enough to spend seven days in Beth's beautiful apartment. Now we say goodbye with a smile and a tear in our eye. The tear in our eye says "time to say goodbye," even though we don't want to leave just yet. The smile in our eye expresses our enthusiasm for our stay. We received a warm welcome; we lacked nothing. Beth has thought of everything. The apartment is a dream. And so is the view from the terrace. You could spend hours there, unwinding and watching the hustle and bustle on the beach. If you don't know Perranporth, you should definitely visit this little town. But even if you want to come back again, you should let this accommodation convince you. A really special time in beautiful St Ives. The apartment is perfectly located, just minutes from the harbour and the beach with the most spectacular views, the photos don’t do justice. A minor issue was resolved immediately by Jon (thank you). We were glad of the parking, although you need to be confident at reverse parking, the space is tight but manageable for a small car (mine was slightly bigger than the owners). We would also recommend St Ives Pottery for a fantastic pottery throwing experience and Tiger Lilly boats for mackerel fishing. We would love to come back.

So nice to arrive after a long journey to find the water hot with excellent shower facilities, a welcoming comfortable bed with good quality bedding. We were told it was dog friendly, so we were appreciative to find bowls, towel etc., should you forget. The location was ideal for exploring the North Coast and we made full use of our NT membership. Wonderful dog friendly beaches and eating establishments very accomodating. we particularly enjoyed Godrevy and Holywell Coves. ''Tap House'' in St Agnes is a must , great food reasonably priced , but make sure you book and allow time for parking.

Mariners Watch was in a perfect location for our visit to the Minack and Porthcurno cove. Enjoyable visit to St Michaels Mount. Mel was easy to communicate with. Welcoming touches of wine and beer awaiting us. An american style fridge proved very useful as nearest supermarkets are 30 minutes drive in Penzance. There is a small shop/post office in St Buryan.

I had a lovely stay at Lesley’s. Check-in was easy, there was a spare pair of keys which is always useful, and she was a very communicative and helpful host. The flat is a short walk from the beach, which you can even see from some windows. The white and grey theme gives the home a light, airy feel—especially when the sun is out. The flat is tastefully decorated, and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and I especially enjoyed the modern rocking chair—it was perfect for reading. Just a heads-up: there are three flights of stairs up to the flat, and another flight to reach the bedroom and living room. The stairs near the exit are quite narrow, so take care. There’s a small shop just behind the flat (Ayr Store) with fresh produce and essentials. A Co-op and a Spar are about 8 minutes away on foot, with a few hills along the way. I had a great time overall and would recommend this accommodation to anyone without mobility issues

The location of the apartment was great; the view of the sea was great and the distance to the beach, shops and station was short. The apartment was very clean and the host was helpful and friendly.
