Monthly Rentals in Cape San Blas

Tighe and Debbie’s place is one I’ve always loved. It’s tucked away in a peaceful spot—quiet and relaxing, yet conveniently close to things to do. Their home truly feels like a home away from home. I’ve returned here multiple times, and it’s always a pleasure. Tighe and Debbie are consistently helpful and kind, and I’m deeply grateful that they share their little oasis.

The home is beautiful and host have attention to details from cooking utensils, cleaning supplies, towels, beach chairs, wagon, and they even purchased a pack-n-play for our 1 year old to use. This was a perfect place for our family to relax and enjoy the beach. The hosts were quick to respond when we had a question. It will definitely be a top choice for us in the future!

My husband and I stayed 5 nights at Gone Shellin’ in May. The location is very close to the beach with a nice private boardwalk for access. The beach is beautiful! Gone Shellin’ is nice, cozy and comfortable. It was a perfect place to rest between beach combing, fishing and exploring Cape San Blas. We slept great! We enjoyed local restaurants where the seafood is fresh and well prepared. **I will confess… I did not completely read the packet of information from Carol’s property management company that came by email. 🙃My advice is read all the information so you can be prepared for a more comfortable stay. We had no problems but did have to add a few more items to my St Joe’s Piggly Wiggly shopping trip. Thank you Carol for sharing Gone Shellin’ with us!

First of all, we very much enjoyed our stay!! A large portion of our group wanted to fish while we were there so having a deep freezer downstairs right by the door was a great addition. On that same token, the only downfall was the steps on the walkway that lead down to the beach. We always use a fishing cart and the pictures did not indicate the presence of steps. We adapted and it did not cause issues. However, it may causes issues for someone who books simply in hopes of no steps (ie wheel chair access) that might be a problem. That was the only thing that caught us by surprise. We very much enjoyed our stay!
