Such a cute cottage! It was nice and clean and quiet - just how we like things. The beds were super comfy, which is always a bonus. And our doggo loved having access to a fenced in space to freely run. We would recommend this place to anyone!

This place was peaceful and easy to travel in and out of for us to visit relatives in the area. The hosts were very responsive and provided recommendations in the area. It was also nice seeing their horse and chickens.

We had a great stay for my husband’s birthday. The hosts were incredibly kind, responsive, and the farm is lovely. I also can’t speak highly enough about the breakfast option. You’ll love it!

It is like going back in time and living in a museum, yet feeling like you are visiting your grandmother! such an amazing place and the surroundings are also beautiful.

Lindsay’s property is awesome, great place to wander amongst the horses and hang out with the barn cats! And of course the breakfast is amazing!

This was a great hidden gem and the host always made sure to accommodate. Will definitely plan to stay here again.

Staying with Joe and Beth was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was visiting a favorite uncle and aunt. They are warm, sincere, and genuinely welcoming. Their kindness wasn’t just in the big gestures (though taking me up in Joe’s plane was an unforgettable highlight), it was also in the little moments--a chat over a morning cup of coffee, a shared meal, a spontaneous "hey, look at this." This experience reminded me of what Airbnb used to be at its best, not just a place to sleep, but a connection with people and place.

Jason's place was ideal for our needs. Responsive with any questions we had and friendly. Incredible area for our pups to get rid of the zoomies and even visit the local chickens! Peaceful country setting (although an occasional passerby might have loud exhaust pipes) where you can step out back and see the stars. Everything was comfortable, especially the master bedroom and bath. The shower needs to have it's own rating! Definitely recommend and will keep on our return visit list if it's available.

Incredible host and lovely peaceful home not far at all from Raleigh. The backyard is a sanctuary and the beds are what you need for a good nights sleep. Thank you for being so helpful Dawn.

The hosts are phenomenal. They go above and beyond to welcome you and make you feel at home. Everything looks exactly like pictures, which are spectacular. This is such a special property and we feel honored that we were able to stay here. The animals on the property are such an incredible addition. We loved every minute of our stay. I had a wonderful stay at this charming house in Burgaw, NC! The rustic western decor gave it a cozy, unique vibe that made it feel like a true getaway. The space was spotless and well-maintained, and the host was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and character-filled stay!

Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our son has dubbed it the "HAFH" or Home Away from Home. Everything we could possibly need was provided and then some. Closest beach is 25 min (Sunset) away and within 40 min you can reach pretty much any attraction near Myrtle Beach. Highly recommend and will book again!

The property was lovely, quiet and clean. By far the best part were cats Jack and Jill who were on the porch to greet us all the time. I will miss them and the happiness they had to see us. Thanks so much for having us!

My son and I stayed at Mary’s place while he competed in a junior golf tournament. The location was extremely convenient to all Southern Pines and Pinehurst has to offer. The space was perfect for the two of us. We found the home to be spotless and full of all the basic essentials. Do yourself a favor and take a walk around the farm and enjoy the peace and tranquility. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the area. The host are very responsive and welcoming. This place is charming, you can feel the history here! It's comfortable and homey. Loved the decor. Yard is nice, but quite close to a road/intersection. I wouldn't let dogs run loose. We saw frogs and turtles. Loved the birds. Back porch was great! Close to town to grab groceries, etc. Host was very responsive and helpful! We left a much treasured item on accident and she is willing to ship it to us. So thankful for that!

We felt right at home and welcome for our whole stay! This was our third trip to the farm and it really felt just like going home. We had two families with a combined 3 boys and had plenty of space to spread out within the house. We went into New Burn for site seeing and dinner and found multiple parks near by for hiking/running. The house was beautiful and comfortable- we loved seeing the lambs, chickens, cats and cows right outside the windows and the screened in porch was perfect for catching up. We had a tour of the farm and got to see baby chicks and brand new baby lambs! Getting to name three lambs were our boys’s favorite part! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

Very different type of AirB&B. We got to feed chickens! The house must be from the 20's or 30's & it's lovely. Some of the old charm remains & some of it has been updated. We needed for nothing & even fresh eggs were in the fridge. Yum

My family had a wonderful time. The farm was very peaceful and felt off the beaten path yet still a short drive to Raleigh. The children had a great time playing in the creek and trails on the property. The farm tour was an added bonus. We hope to return.

I can’t say enough good things about the Hermitage cottage. It was absolutely perfect for an overnight stay after a long drive on 95. I only wish I could have stayed longer. The house is on a beautifully maintained and fenced in/gated property. Shaded parking right next to the house was a plus for unpacking. The house has everything you can think of and even stuff you may not have thought to pack yourself. You could want for nothing here. Beautifully decorated with such attention to detail. Every inch of the house has something neat to see. Everything was sparkling clean. The kitchen well-stocked. The bathroom had many amenities. The bedroom was so cozy and the bed was very comfortable. Plenty of lighting and fans to choose from to suit your cooling and ambience needs. Smart TVs available. The massage chair was amazing! Gorgeous yard space, perfect for the dog. I felt safe and relaxed. Love this place! Would stay again! Thank you so much Lorraine for everything and the treats!

Wow did it meet our expectations!?! It exceeded anything we could have imagined! So fortunate to have this opportunity to stay in a beautiful apartment in community our family members live in!! And the horses and setting were exceptional! Thank you so much Sandra!

Peaceful, cozy, and inviting! Great host!! Carla’s place sits among pastures and when you imagine what a country farm should look like, this is what I see. The home is full of international antiques and delectable curios she has collected on her extensive travels. You instantly feel at home. The Green House has a fascinating history, too! Our gracious hosts, Carla and Craig, went out of their way to make us feel welcome! A wonderful place to unwind - I highly recommend!!
