Holiday rentals with a patio in Caniço

Carolina and Tiago were very helpful and were always responding to all our queries. They made us a lot of great local recommendations. They also accommodated our request for an early check in.

I stayed four nights at the flat and very much enjoyed my stay. It is tastefully decorated, well appointed and remarkably quiet! The big floor cushion was a personal favourite to read at the end of the day. I was pleased to find everything I needed (including a few cooking basics like oil and salt, as well as laundry detergent, which is not always the case in some places). Took a few minutes to locate the washing machine. You will find it behind the door in the kitchen. Walking to Sé neighborhood, which I found to have the most interesting (and on a Sunday, open) restaurant options took about 20 minutes at a brisk pace, so a reasonable distance, but I was a bit discouraged at the hike back up the very steep hill at the end of long days, so I opted for the lazy solution of taking (cheap) Uber rides. Parking on the street is easy and so is accessing major roads to go East or West. Overall, a wonderful find that I recommend unreservedly.

Невероятно красивая квартира. В живую лучше чем на фото. Очень быстрое и комфортное заселение. Качественные материалы, хорошая мебель и идеальная чистота. Прекрасный вид из балкона и из квартира на бассейн и океан. Всё работает. Высший класс жилья. Самый лучший район Фуншала с дорогими отелями в округе. Рядом торговый центр. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. До центра Фуншала 10-15 минут на машине.

Super host - very responsive and provided excellent recommendations. Great location to explore on foot and by car. Parking no issue, and easy drive to airport. Apartment was tremendous. Balconies allowed us to have breakfast in the sun outside admiring the views. Walk into town about 15 mins down hill - not too strenuous. Lots of Ubers that were inexpensive, so easy to get about. We had x4 full days in Madeira which were full of activities. Palace Gardens and Levarda walks were excellent. Truly wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Connie hat uns super freundlich empfangen und uns alles gezeigt, sowie Empfehlungen gegeben. Neben einem Wein und Begrüßungsschild bekamen wir einen leckeren Salatkopf aus ihrem Garten - lecker. Die Unterkunft ist ein Traum und bestens geeignet zum entspannen, sonnen und tollen Frühstücks morgens! Die frischen Brötchen konnten wir von einem nahen gelegenen Bäcker+Supermarkt jeden Tag holen. Die Lage ist super für Tagestrips, wir haben in den 10 Tagen die ganze Insel kennengelernt. Danke Connie und Johnny! :-)

Tout à été parfait, de notre arrive à notre départ. le logement étais parfait, les conseils pour la route et se garer super les routes pour rejoindre le logement sont un peu raides et étroites mais c'est largement faisable ! Le logement, la vue, tout étais impeccable

Filipa was a great host and this is one of the best AirBnb’s we have stayed in. Great location, only a short walk into town and the area is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and a park just over the road. Great space with lots of attention to detail and very clean. We loved Funchal and will definitely be booking this accommodation again when we return. Thank you for such a great stay.

Marco fue súper atento desde el principio, sus instrucciones fueron claras y muy amablemente nos sugirió sitios para comer y lugares icónicos de la isla para visitar, además de se sintió una persona cercana ya que nos hablaba en español para sentirnos más cómodos. El departamento muy confortable, lo que más nos gustó fue salir a comer en el balcón disfrutando de la vista al mar. El lugar es muy tranquilo y de fácil acceso ya que hay una parada de autobuses a pocos metros.

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). Stayed here for 3 nights in May. The locaton of the place was great. Only a few minutes to the airport and 15 to 20 to Funchel. The place was very clean inside. Also the host was really nice and responsive! Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was amazing, Jose was very cooperative and helped when we needed things to be fixed or done. He helped us check in very smoothly despite our flight being delayed. He is an amazing host, and the house is incredible.

We had an amazing stay at this adorable Santana cottage! The view was beyond stunning. The hosts are fantastic. They gave us a welcome basket and provided information about hikes and local restaurants.

Simone's house was lovely. Good location, great views and relatively quiet at night. Barking dogs may disturb some lighter sleepers! The kitchen was well equipped & the gift on arrival was appreciated. There is a small grocery store at the end of the street which sells basic provisions. We didn't hire a car but getting taxi/Uber was not an issue to get into Funchal. All in all a great little find.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Funchal. The space was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal: quiet but still within easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. Check-in was smooth, and the host was welcoming and responsive throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madeira!

Wirklich ein super schönes Apartment! Genau wie auf den Fotos, man fühlt sich direkt zu Hause. Der Blick ist atemberaubend! Würde jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten während man in Funchal ist. Bis zur Stadt sind es ca. 25min zu Fuß. Das Bett ist super bequem. Jederzeit wieder :)

Great location and views. Plane and street noise did not disturb us as we kept bedroom windows closed. Everything you need to cook. WiFi can be a little spotty. I would stay there again.

Vasco was a wonderful host. Our only contact was really checkin and checkout process as we had no issues during our entire month stay. The apartment was clean with a well equipped kitchen and is as photographed. We booked this apartment because of the view which really is exceptional! Added benefit of seeing port so we always knew when cruise ships were docked so we could plan accordingly. Location provides easy access to highway in either direction. Comfortable walk to old town but return by bus is recommended. Rental car to tour the rest of the island is also recommended. You do need to be skilled driver as narrow hill roads are no joke. We walked to local Padaria Pastelaria Mariazinha for coffee and pastries. Highly recommend for digital nomads/long term stay. Very quiet neighborhood and always felt safe. We brought earplugs because of previous dog barking comments but never used them. Recommend if you want authentic experience. Had a great stay.

Gorgeous spacious apartment walkable to everything in downtown Funchal - restaurants, shopping the water, musicians in the restaurant area were so fun! (Not near the house). All of Funchal seems to have some construction especially behind this building but I suspect u can’t escape that anywhere in Funchal. Otherwise it was a fantastic apartment and would definitely rent there again. Hosts were wonderful

Superbe appartement ! Parfait pour un séjour a Madère. Le logement est tout équipé avrc une salle de bain par chambre ce qui est très pratique pour un groupe de voyageurs, la résidence avec piscine est un vrai plus. Je recommande fortement ce logement. Hôte disponible pour toute question.
