Condo holiday rentals in Caniço

Very nice stay. The condo is large , very clean and everything is of quality, both in the kitchen and bedding and towels. Building also very clean and street in a residential area a little away from downtown but still close by. Availability of a very useful garage as we recommend the use of a car because the frequency of buses in Funchal is uneven. Finally, Carlos and his brother are very responsive.

I have stayed in probably 30 Airbnbs throughout the world and I really think this may be the best one I've ever stayed in. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. Nice modern condo with all the kitchen appliances. Big TV and comfortable couch. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. The pool is comfortable for laying out and tanning by. There is plenty of free street parking. Adriana let us check in very early as well which really saved us! The location is great. There are restaurants and grocery within walking distance. It is an awesome spot! I will absolutely stay here again it I return to Madeira. Thanks for the great holiday!

I was met by Ligia’s husband Jonny who was a from my home country so had immediate rapport with him and was made to feel at home. Berta and Ligia were amazing sources of information about everything I needed to know in a way that was friendly and nonintrusive! The apartment was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully arranged so had everything I need and so much more! I absolutely would recommend their apartment from single travellers like myself to families of four for convenience, location, value for money and highly receptive and knowledgeable, caring hosts! Perfect location and quiet place close to the center of Funchal! The hosts were very nice and gave us great recommendations for restaurants!

The accommodation was spacious and the kitchen was very well equipped. The highlight was the large terrace with mountain views. The location is close to the city but on a quiet corner. Everything went smoothly with check-in and check-out.

Great apartment and very nice hosts. The view from the balconies is unique. Only privacy is not on the balcony, the street really leads right past it. However, traffic is limited and at night it is very quiet. You can only hear the waves.

A fabulous small apartment in a beautiful location, a perfect home-base not too far from the capital. A wonderful host with superb hospitality, truly lived every moment of our trip!!

Great place. View every bit as good as advertised. Fine for two, viable for 3, probably too tight for 4. Parking and unloading is a bit of effort - but the payoff in view and setting more than compensates. Loved hanging out on the patio with a glass of wine and no agenda besides soaking in the amazing scenery. Recommended. We’d definitely stay here again.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

We had a great stay at this nice apartment! We enjoyed the view from the balcony every day and loved it so much. We missed some amenities in the kitchen (cheese grater for example, more plates, cups etc). The location is fine, close to the airport and a great starting place for hikes all around the island - you have to have a car though! The neighborhood is not really nice, you can't really go for a walk or get somewhere by foot. Still, we enjoyed our stay a lot!

I booked about 11 months in advance, this was so cheap in comparison to other places and it was worth every penny! Leandro’s mum came to greet us when we arrived, with milk bread and biscuits, which was lovely! We had everything we needed and a supermarket was a short walk away. The view from the bedrooms is beautiful! Such a stunning place! I initially asked to stay an extra night and Leandro was very accommodating, then our flight was changed so we no longer needed the extra night and that also wasn’t a problem either. I’ve recommended to all my friends and family.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and Pedro is the #1 host, hands down. He was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and held high integrity. There was some construction with one of the units (which was beyond Pedro’s control) and he was genuinely concerned if it affected us (it did not take away from our wonderful experience!) The bright decor, comfortable space and the sounds of the ocean make this place the go to stay in Madeira. Would happily go back our next visit to Madeira!

Very nice stay, totally recommended

We had a very good time staying at Nelson and Paula's apartment. It is very spacious, very well equipped with everything you could need. But the most beautiful is the beautiful sea and mountain views. It is a lively location with a great hamburger tent in the parking lot in front of the apartment and plenty of restaurants nearby. We walked a lot in the area, but also liked to do the hike among the banana trees in Madalena do Mar. Communication was excellent. There is a new bed and that's fine! The apartment is definitely recommended!

Very nice apartment with all amenities including a covered garage. A superb sea view from every room of the apartment: breakfast in the morning overlooking the sea of happiness ... We were well received and at the beginning and end of the stay. The building is located in a quiet area and, at the same time, it is very quick to access the expressways: to visit the whole island it was great. Apartment to recommend.

We had a wonderful time in Madere. The apartment is very spacious and very well equipped. It has a very nice view from the terrace where it is possible to see the sunset.

Beautiful apartment, very clean and felt at home. About a 25 minute walk to Funchal center. Easy to get around. We rented a car and having a parking spot in the building was very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you!

Great overall experience, parking can be awkward if hiring your own car however Agostinho will inform you of other areas to park.

We were extremely comfortable and thought the location was perfect walkable to restaurants, grocery store, deus store and some shopping. Close to attractions in city.

Beautiful apartment, clean, very spacious and wonderful views. The terrace is an amazing bonus, great for relaxing, sunbathing and eating. It has plenty of seating options and even a BBQ. The inside was also very comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious with lots of storage. We spent 2 weeks there and found it the perfect base from which to explore Madeira.
