The accommodation was exactly as described, comfortable, private, high quality/finish throughout, and the setting was lovely. If we are ever in the area, we would look to book again. The cottage was absolutely perfect for the two of us and our cockapoo. Beautifully clean and very elegant. The extra touches of milk, snacks and drinks were much appreciated. We were pleasantly surprised to see dog bowls and dog treats for your fur babies. We took advantage of the instructions for a local dog walk which our Jessie enjoyed. The kitchen had everything you needed and the dinnerware and cutlery were lovely. There was enough supplies to make a cuppa tea/coffee as soon as you arrived with a selection of biscuits and cleaning supplies for afterwards. The bedroom was lovely, the furniture, decoration and bed linen made it very attractive. The bathroom was pleasant with an array of toiletries so no need to bring anything other than your towels. The living room had a comfy sofa and a lounging chair, we enjoyed a night in watching netflix and a takeaway delivered by Just Eat. One of my favourite extras was the 'forgotten box' which held a small amount of personal items ❤️

We had a great time at the Stables. This was our first trip away with our newborn and our dog and it was perfect. Although there was a family in the adjoining cottage, we barely heard them - it was very peaceful. On the first day, we visited Gunby Hall and Estate and then the Snipe Dales. On the second day, we drove to Sandilands and then to Hubbard Hills. I would definitely recommend a visit to all, particularly the coast, and all were within easy driving distance. Katherine's recommendation in the folder were great for us to find local food shops and for the maps and walks. We felt very welcome, were very grateful for the nice touches (plum bread was lovely!) and the house was just as described! We had a little issue with the shower but Katherine and Chris were quick to resolve this for us which was really appreciated. We would definitely look to visit again in the future.
