Beautiful location on the canal. On a quiet street just around the corner from all the great this Amsterdam has to offer. it's a 18 minute walk to Central Station if you choose not to take a tram. If I get a chance to get back to Amsterdam, I would try to book this place again

I have been to Amsterdam several times, and Martin’s Airbnb is the best accommodation I’ve ever had. Even the best I’ve had in Europe. The terrace is jaw dropping beautiful, it is so close to the Waag in Nieuwmarkt that it feels like you could throw a rock and hit it. The sunsets are absolutely stunning. The best part though: the BED! Not only were the sheets and comforter soft, but the bed is so cozy. It was a perfect place to take refuge at night from a week of exploring Amsterdam. The stairs are steep but Martin insisted on carrying my luggage up and down for me, all 45 pounds of it. The cats are also amazing - very cuddly and sweet. You also have the option to lock the cat door if you wish. Even as a solo traveler, I felt very safe even though it is in the red light district. If you take a right out of the Airbnb you won’t even be in the red light district, it is perfectly on the border. This was an incredible stay and I can’t wait to be back!
