House holiday rentals in Calne

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

We stayed here to celebrate my Dad’s 70th birthday as a family. The house is absolutely beautiful, it’s very clean and the interior suits the surroundings perfectly. The view of the water is stunning and so lovely to look at first thing in the morning! I would highly recommend. There’s also lots to do on site which is real bonus. We walked to the local pub, the Bakers Arms which we’d highly recommend for a short but pleasant walk. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Booked for a 50th birthday celebration and reunion. A great time was had by all! Lois was around to meet and greet and the items provided for breakfast was an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Thanks for a great stay Lois!

Calm place and well maintained, we enjoyed the stay.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

What a spot! I’d highly recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We had a lovely stay. The place is great - spacious, bright, very clean and has everything you need (and more!) The Barn is situated in a peaceful location with superb views of surrounding countryside and host’s kitchen garden. Extremely well equipped decorated and furnished to a high standard. I can’t imagine anyone not able to enjoy their stay here.

We had a lovely stay at Grange Cottage celebrating our daughter’s birthday. The house is fascinating, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was a perfect communal space especially with small children. I loved the very old barn and we had great bbq’s there. The children had a lot of fun in the garden and enjoyed collecting the chicken eggs. We did the walk along the tow path, suggested in the house guide book, which somehow ended at the pub and our son in law was pleased to visit Caen Locks ( well worth seeing, amazing engineering feat ) as he had been through them with his father some years ago. Victoria was a very helpful host and I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Great little cottage right in the centre of Marlborough. Perfect place for our night away

Beautiful property, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Set right on a very peaceful lake; was great siting on the desk watching the water sports. Easy to find and enter and good communication from the hosts. No faults at all.

Wonderful place, beautiful location. Helen is fantastic. You will never go wrong with this place or with Helen herself. I had an issue whilst here (my problem entirely, nothing to do with venue) and Helen was a brilliant host. Responsive, understanding, professional and kind. Can’t ask for anything more. Going to Foxhills MX track to participate / watch an event and don’t fancy staying in your van?… Here is your option then. Got grandkids there? Stay here, 8 mins away.

We loved staying at Emily’s place in Frome, it really stood out within the village yet it was so convenient to walk to nearby restaurants and particularly visiting Bath and Longleat as we had intended. If you message Emily beforehand, she has great recommendations on hand. We would stay here again in a heartbeat, in any season.

Our stay was amazing at the Cuckoo Nest, the place was immaculately clean and very cosy. The house is walking distance into Lacock which is a lovely picturesque village. We had the best time and would definitely recommend and visit again. Thank you!

Quirky barn was a fantastic place to stay with our friends for the weekend. Great location for us to visit Bowood house and gardens. The barn itself is certainly quirky and a fun place to enjoy our time with our friends, everything we needed.

The cottage was in beautiful little village and about 25 minutes driving distance to Bath town centre. It is a beautiful cottage with a beautiful log burner inside and all the amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend visit and will go there again

This is the 2ndb time my parents have asked me to book this place as they loved it so much the first time. They cycle from the station and Amy always provides a warm welcome and makes them feel at home. They love exploring the area on thier bicycles and Chippenham on a Saturday is bustling with the farmers market and nice places to have lunch. They love the tranquility of Stanley Chaple and sitting at the kitchen table with the sun pouring in. I'm sure they'll be back again!

We were a family of four including two teenage daughters and a sheepdog - stayed here for 10 days. Each one of us enjoyed staying in this beautifully furnished and peaceful home with walks off the property and many lovely restaurants within driving distance. Host family were very mindful of our privacy. We had a wonderful time here.

Fantastic stay, really good location. The annex was beautiful and so spacious, the pictures don’t do it justice. Will return.
