The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

Welcome to our Cabin on the Loch. Our custom built cabin on stilts over the pristine Loch Venachar. Situated in the heart of the Trossachs, not far from Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. It is a totally private secret escape. This is truly a place to relax and to get away from it all. Just sit on the deck, or take a stroll along the banks of the Loch. The cabin sleeps 2 people and is totally private. A wonderful location for fishing, walking and cycling, (or just chilling).

The living Room has a TV and Log Burner - with French Doors out to the decking area. The double bedroom is up on the mezzanine level which you access via a ladder.

The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. A newly redecorated self catered pet friendly cosy log cabin nestled in the private grounds of Ardoch Lodge a 9 acre Victorian Hunting Lodge. This stunning log cabin is set in a wooded area covered with bluebells in the spring some distance from the house, with private car parking, and outside dining area. The cabin is furnished and equipped to the highest standards making it cosy and comfortable at any time of the year. We also offer EV charging on site.

Unlike many glamping experiences, our pods come with bed linen, towels and basic kitchen utensils provided, so that you can focus on enjoying your stay. This pod also has underfloor heating and a covered porch allowing you to sit outside and enjoy the view. All guests also have access to free WiFi and parking.
