Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Cairns Regional

Platypus Retreat is everything it says and more. Secluded, romantic, beautiful. We picked up Groceries before we arrived, but found out when we got there that we didn’t need as much as we thought. Condiments, tomato sauce, salad dressing, butter, all sorts of spices were all there. While we had a bit of trouble using the oven, it was no problem- we used the bbq instead. We arrived to music playing softly and homemade bread. Just wow. And there was complimentary milk as well. Oh- and as true Americans, we fully appreciated the ice machine. The pool was delightful, albeit slightly chilly for us. We could have asked Gemma to adjust, but it was our last night and we just relaxed in the spa instead- as the rain fell and the local animal life were serenaded us. Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing way to end our whirlwind trip to AU.

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s Brinsmead house. It is a stunning location and truly feels like a retreat nestled in the hills around Cairns. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, including snacks, fresh fruit, milk, a fresh loaf of bread and butter to get us started when we arrived. We enjoyed a lot of time on the beautiful and spacious decks that the house offers, and made good use of the barbecue. Helen was a fantastic host who left easy to follow instructions for our arrival and departure. We will definitely consider another stay here in the future!

What an amazing home in the jungle. The garden is stunning, as is the view of it from the bedroom. Great base to come ‘home’ to after a busy day. We certainly felt comfortable in Colin’s home away from home. Colin couldn’t have been more helpful! With brilliant recommendations that certainly helped make our trip a more fabulous one. Thank you so much Colin for hosting us in your gorgeous home.

We loved our stay in this very charming, traditional home. Easy and quick driving to water, restaurants, botanical garden etc. Everything was clean. The pool was delightful as was the patio adjacent. There are about 10 steps to get into the front door. Susie was very responsive and nice to work with. We really enjoyed our stay.

This stay was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly kind and thoughtful, providing detailed check-in instructions from the moment we booked and even checking in to see if we needed any help. The place was even more beautiful than in the photos—clean, well-equipped, and very cozy. The location was perfect. Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely stay here again next time!

Our stay at Manyana, Clifton Beach was a fantastic enjoyable week. The home was beautiful inside, very modern and tastefully furnished and decorated, very comfortable and roomy, and spotlessly clean, and the swimming pool was also very clean and a favourite for all of us. We were in easy walking distance to the local beach and shops, and only a few easy kilometres walk to Palm Cove. Fabian and his team were friendly and immediately responsive for any inquiries, and the welcome package awaiting us was the best and most extensive we have ever received at any of the many other airbnbs we have stayed. Thank you so very much for all the goodies and starter supplies Fabian. It made a big difference to us after a long drive getting there. A great home, beautiful surroundings and excellent hosts, made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. If your ever in the North, I strongly recommend you stay at Manyama. We will definitely be back.
