Great place for a great price, definitely recommend! The cutlery were slightly dirty but we were provided with all the necessary soaps and tools to clean them. The location is somewhat convenient, but everything is around a 20-30 minute walk away. There is a bus stop which will take you to beaches. The room itself was clean, some dust but manageable, the bathroom were clean and amenities were provided.

A rainforest retreat is how I see Melissa's. We loved the lounge room outside, it was comfortable and cool. Outside is a beautiful area. The bed was comfortable and we had all that we needed.

A magical space in a magical setting. We absolutely loved our time here and cannot wait to get back. Pam and John are exceptional hosts. We couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thank you for a truly fantastic experience.

We (myself, my sister and partner and 2 dogs) stayed at Jan's place for 5 nights. It's perfect for a relaxing time away, situated up the hill from the creek which is perfect for an afternoon or morning swim. The views of Mt Bartle Frere and surrounds were fantastic from the front of the bungalow. It was perfect for the doggies to have a run around in the field outside the bungalow. Jan is very friendly, with heaps of local knowledge and was on hand to ensure our stay was stress free. If we're ever in the area, we'll definitely be back and will recommend to friends.

Our stay was lovely. Diane & Perry was the best, very informative. Great restaurants and peaceful area. Highly recommend.

Super beautiful location. My weekend was spectacular from Babinda Boulders to this beautiful little home. It was small but so comfortable. I was able to spend quality time bonding with my friends, having a shared dinner and some drinks. The hosts were so lovely and communicated everything clearly.

Photos didn’t do it justice in our opinion it was amazing when we showed up, walkable to palm cove strip extremely friendly neighbours and host would recommend to anyone coming to palm cove for a visit

I always love staying at Jen's place when I'm in Cairns, such a quiet location and close to the city. A dip in the pool in the evening was delightful, especially as the days were very warm.

As per the description. The place is fully equipped. We enjoyed the pool and tennis court. Botanic garden nearby is great for running. Just a bit far from downtown. You can rent Beam e-scooter for a fun ride to the city.

Lovely, quiet and peaceful environment. Would highly recommend.

Loved the view over the valley. Both the ceiling fans and air-conditioning made a huge difference in the humidity. A great place to stay for over a week, with good amenities for cooking your own meals.

Extremely pleased to find “everything” you could think of was in the unit. Homely & comfortable & plants a nice touch. Vic liked the placement of the mirror to view the TV from the kitchen. The surroundings & the friendly wallabies were amazing. Great comfy king size bed & both air-cons worked extremely well. BBQ area & facilities were very well equipped & clean. Pools were magnificent & very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & loved the peacefulness. Would highly recommend Michelle’s place to anyone looking for a great place to stay when visiting Cairns.

It has been great to spend some day at Allan’s house, he and AJ, make feel comfortable help me with everything I need and solve everything all time. It was a good idea to stay there.

If you love nature and are especially into birds, this is the perfect place to stay. It is somewhat removed from a community, so either expect to prepare your own meals, or drive towards Cairns. We would stay here again in a second. Seeing Cassowary's there will be hit and miss though, as ethically and legally they are no longer being fed, however they are in the area.
