We spent very nice days in this beautiful house. The terrace directly on a small canal with a view over the meadows offered pure relaxation. The area is ideal for cycling along the canals and blooming tulip fields. Trudi was a very nice and attentive host. Thank you! Maria and Heiko

We were there with three couples and three dogs. And a small child. It was wonderfully beautiful. Absolutely easy to arrive. The house is furnished with love. You have everything your heart desires. Lucy is a super nice hostess. She responds very quickly and responds to requests. Lucy is a great host with a beautiful place. We will be happy to come back.

I felt like home right away! I had the true Dutch feeling with the steep stairs and the lovely little balcony upstairs. Kitty and Erik were responsive and really nice! It was a great place to stay and Groningen is wonderful as always!

Everything was great! The house is unique, the location wonderful. Moddergat is truly a special place. Having the mudflats right on your doorstep is great!

Beautiful cottage, beautiful garden, beautiful rural area. Very good, various and abundant breakfast. The mattress was really comfortable. Annie and her husband are extremely gentle and helping but still respecting the privacy of the guests.

Wonderful stay in a pleasant and very quiet holiday park near Ruinen. Great place for beautiful walks and bike rides. An address to rest well and recharge, thanks to the singing of various birds we heard. House is bright and spacious and equipped with every comfort. We'd love to come back!

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

Beautiful little house, located directly on the water and even on windy days the garden was very sheltered and warm. You can go kayaking directly from the house. The whole complex is fantastically beautiful for children! Had a great stay and would be happy to come back!

It was super nice. The accommodation is beautifully located with a unique view of the IJsselmeer. This also means constant fresh air, wind, and the sound of the water. We loved that. There is also a beach on the dike for swimming. Good beds, great kitchen and shower, nice living room to relax. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday is there. We have also thought of the dog. We'd love to come back.

The apartment was exactly as in the pictures. Good stuff, everything clean and fresh. Beautiful light apartment. Host Jurgen is great! Super friendly, quickly accessible and flexible. Highly recommended.
