Situated in the grounds of our 17th Century home, it is a private sanctuary, with high quality decor and all modern facilities. Wake up to the sound of birdsong whilst enjoying locally sourced artisan coffee and produce. The Blackhouse Boatshed is a stylish new small house boasting stunning panoramic views over the boatbuilding and sailing hamlet of Pin Mill and the famous Butt and Oyster pub. Our Cosy cottage is located between the lovely market towns of Beccles Bungay & Halesworth. Quiet village with its historic church is Ideally situated and only 20 mins from the Suffolk coast, Norwich,Norfolk Broads and all the local attractions such as Lattitude, Snape Maltings, Aldburgh Carnival. We are 10 mins from St Peters Brewery also The raw milk shed is 10 mins away where Baron Bigod cheese is made, 2 mins on is The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation museum. Sizewell is 20 miles from us.

Bungay is located near to several other charming towns including Halesworth and Beccles, while the city of Norwich is 30 minutes drive - as are the beaches of Walberswick, Dunwich and Southwold

Beautifully positioned just a stone’s throw away from the River Waveney, this charming 2 bedroom cottage is idyllically located in the heart of the thriving market town of Beccles, within minutes’ walk to the many independent boutiques and chain shops, an excellent collection of eateries. With the local Lido and easy access to an array of activities the river has to offer such as canoeing, kayaking, river trips and many more, there really is something for everybody.

This is our mother's home, a charming early 18th Century cottage, simply and tastefully furnished. Its location in a quiet country lane, with a glorious view, and seconds from the amazing Earsham Street and beautiful Bungay is very special. If you don't mind the traditional furnishings and the short bathtub, you'll feel like you are stepping back in time, leave the modern world behind, and have a lovely stay. We are very fond of the cottage and visit regularly.
