Beautiful large space, beautifully modernly furnished with a sauna (and billiards) as the icing on the cake. Nice that the sleeping space and bathroom are on a loft. Bed is very conformation. Around the house beautiful horses and nice dogs. In the area there are easy to do several walks in the beautiful hills, or a visit to Liège is easy to organize. Also, shops are within short distance. Very convenient, nice place conveniently located.

The host was great, made us feel like right at home. The services and amenities were above and beyond. The first day of our stay, he got us the eggs from his home raised chickens, and home made jams. All 5 stars to the host.

Listing as described and impeccable. A few utensils are missing for the kitchen (a strainer for pasta would be welcome), but we were able to cook without any worries. Flexible heating (reversible air conditioning), so perfect for people who are quickly cold or hot like me!:) We really liked the location of the accommodation (peaceful but not isolated sincein the middle of a golf complex). The weather didn't allow us to enjoy the small garden that looked nice!

The stay was partly vacation, partly due to family reasons. The place feels like a little oasis of peace. You live right on the center of the city of Aachen, but have a place in the middle of the countryside. It is pleasantly quiet after you enter the house. The village of Vaals is a beautiful small village, which you also like to explore on foot. The warm atmosphere due to the wooden beams in the stone network of the guest house is not seen in the photos, also not the matching furnishings. Most importantly, however, is the pleasant friendly contact with the family. You can quickly ask a question about any issues and get an answer. But also just enjoy your peace in the garden if you are exhausted after experiences of local attractions. My children traveling with them wanted to continue their vacation.

Three generations of my family enjoyed spending the long Easter weekend at Birgit's enclave of beautifully maintained stone buildings dating back to 1913.

Great family retreat in a big house with so many activities that we didn’t want to get out of the estate, we played until we dropped on the tennis court, basketball field, table tennis, pool table, super Mario machine, football table. We used both kitchens (so two ovens, two dishwashers), but the one stove downstairs (with 8 pits!). Bedrooms are well isolated so sleeping in silence, and ofc full darkness at night in this area. Beautiful neighbourhood.Play park a five min walk away which was great for our young kids. Flat is beautiful and the double bunk beds worked perfectly. Master bedroom is lovely too x
