Farmstay holiday rentals in Bucine

We were six adults, two children (3-year-olds) and one infant staying at the house for a week. It’s located in a secluded spot with a large garden and beautiful views of the Tuscan landscape. We used all of the five bedrooms upstairs and they were dark and cool. The kitchen and living room downstairs also stayed cool. Right outside the kitchen there’s a really nice spot that’s in the shade for the most part of the day, where we had most of our meals. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a dip in the pool. However, you definitely need a car to get around. The gardener came around several times a day to maintain the pool etc. We appreciated this, but might be good to know if you’re looking for complete privacy. We also had some issues with the bathrooms; one toilet and a shower didn’t work properly but were fixed within a day and this didn’t affect our experience. The washing machine didn’t work despite repeated attempts by the host to fix it. The barbecue is in the trash room.

C’est exactement ce que je cherchais pour ma famille ; un jour sur deux farniente et piscine et visite culturelle (Arezzo, Firenze, Siene, Rimini, forteresse San Leo, châteaux Poppi et Stia. Puis sur les conseils d’Isabella, le spectacle médiéval à BIBBIENA, deux fois le restaurant « La vite » à Soci et le marché à Ponte de Poppi. 👍

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft! Das ganze Areal ist perfekt zum entspannen und entdecken! Man ist nicht weit weg von den bekannten Städten kann aber auch die Zeit super in der Natur verbringen. Auf dem Areal selber gibt es einige Wanderwege, bei denen man auch einige Tiere besuchen kann. Ansonsten war aber auch der Pool super zum entspannen. Es gibt ein super Buch mit allen Tipps für die Umgebung inklusive Restaurants und Ausflügen sowie die beste Bäckerei nicht weit weg von der Unterkunft! Auch bei Problemen wurde uns direkt geholfen und wir hatten ein ganzen Team zur Hilfe als unser Auto nicht angesprungen ist, danke nochmal dafür!

Wat een fantastische huis en tuin. We waren met 3 families in de leeftijd van 8 maanden tot zeventig jaar, voor ieder was er voldoende aanwezig. Het zwembad was fantastisch, iedereen genoot ervan. In de tuin is zoveel te ontdekken, bomen, struiken, kruiden, vol vlinders en insecten en zelf een niet gevaarlijke schorpioen, heel avontuurlijk. Nella was zelf niet aanwezig maar reageerde snel voor onze vragen. Ook had zij een kok geregeld om een avond voor ons te koken. Lily en haar dochter Isabella hebben super heerlijke traditionele Italiaanse gerechten voor ons gekookt, super! En Fabritius bracht een heerlijke rode wijn mee. Cortona is te belopen, wel moet je wat conditie hebben. Het stadje is prachtig en het theatertje prachtig om te zien met een heerlijk restaurant ernaast. Wij komen zeker terug♥️

Mai 2025 - La vallée d'Orcia est magnifique et la maison de Flavia est tout à fait répresentative des photos; je dirais même que c'est plus beau sur place! L'hébergement est bien située par rapport aux activités que nous voulions faire. Super interaction avec la très aimable Flavia (communication et suggestions de choses à faire dans les environs). À recommander à coup sûr!

Le seul chose que je pourrais dire de négatif c’est le manque d’éclairage pour la cuisine et salle à manger . Pour le reste tout est parfait si on aime le décor de la campagne:-)

Wie im Himmel! Zwei wundervolle Wochen in der reizvoll spätsommerlichen Toskana, unweit von Florenz, Arezzo, Siena, San Gimigniano und den Weingütern der Chianti-Region liegen hinter uns. Und Rosano! Mit der besten Alimentari-Bottega der Welt und einer kleinen feinen zurückgezogenen Klosterkirche der Benediktinerinnen. Il Castellino ist ein wunderschönes und liebevoll betreutes Anwesen mitten in biologisch bewirtschafteten Olivenhainen. Ein Zuhause auf Zeit: der weite Blick in die morgendlich nebelverhangenen Täler, lange ungestörte Abendstunden auf Terasse, der perfekt temperierte Pool, die gut ausgestattete Küche, die superkomfortable Einrichtung, der Lieblingsplatz in der Hängematte zwischen alten Bäumen, eine Olivenöl-Führung von Remus und Marias unvergleichliche Torta ... wir kommen wieder!

Ce logement est très conforme aux photos. Endroit très agréable et verdoyant. Parfait pour visiter Florence et ses alentours. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et chaleureux malgré la barrière de la langue. Je conseille fortement .

Wunderschöne und geschmackvolle Anlage in ruhiger Lage mit tollem Ausblick. Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hochwertig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet sowie blitzsauber! In der Küche findest du alles was du für deinen Aufenthalt benötigst (Öl, Salz, Zucker etc.) ein tolles Extra ist das kleine „Willkommenspaket“ von Ian mit Wein, Brot, Butter und mehr - Danke! Wir können den Aufenthalt bei Ian mit seinen zwei großartigen Hunden Fellow und Ludwig wärmstens empfehlen! Besuche während deines Aufenthalts die mittelalterliche Stadt Anghiari und für Backwaren die Antico Forno Bindi und mache unbedingt einen großen Spaziergang durch die Weinberge und Wälder rund um die Unterkunft.

La Bulletta ci è rimasta nel cuore!il luogo è incantevole, si è immersi nella natura e la posizione è sempre ben ventilata il pomeriggio e la notte. La piscina un valore aggiunto,dopo tutti i nostri giri un bel bagno per rigenerarsi è stato apprezzato da tutti. Daniele,con la sorella Emanuela e la piccola Lucia,il papà e la mamma sono davvero splendidi, ci hanno dato consigli sui dintorni e non solo. Torneremo sicuramente!!!

We absolutely adored our stay at La Foresteria. Beautiful location, gorgeous property so relaxing and idyllic. We had so many wonderful walks around the property, visited many beautiful places close by and enjoyed plenty of relaxation by the pool and gardens. Stunning meals in the restaurant and the wine tasting was superb. Marian, Luca and Monika were incredible, so friendly and helpful and couldn’t do enough. Many thanks to all the team, you made our holiday so special and we’d definitely love to return sometime.

I stayed at this Airbnb on a farm, and overall it was a great experience. The interior was nicely decorated, and the bed was super comfortable. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and check-in was smooth. I had rented a vintage Fiat 500 from another company, and when I brought it back, the host kindly pointed out a few issues—like a small oil leak—and gave me helpful driving tips, which I really appreciated. The location is quite remote, with no restaurants within a 15-minute drive, but the scenery is beautiful. The farm itself has stunning views over wide stretches of Tuscan countryside, which was a real highlight. Driving around also let me explore hidden spots most tourists wouldn’t see. The only downside is that the room doesn’t have a view; you need to step outside into the yard to enjoy it. Other than that, my stay was lovely, and I’d definitely recommend it for a peaceful countryside escape.

What can you say about Giovanni and Il Colle that hasn’t already been said? You arrive, he greets you. He shows you the property, he shows you the products that come from his labors. He offers you the opportunity to enjoy them and he explains where they come from and how they compliment a lifestyle that is truly unique. He takes you to your room and shows you all of the features of the place. He is ever present and will be there for help, guidance on restaurants, directions, or general conversation. This place is in his blood and it is clearly evident. 5 stars isn’t enough. Use Il Colle as your hub and explore Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and the surrounding areas, but come back home to this place for solitude and an escape from the crowds. Do not book less for than 3 nights. I did (1 night - ugh). We are now in our next place, and we are even more bummed we’re not there. Giovanni is one of a kind. You will not regret it. Grazie Mille!

Wow! this place was an absolute dream. I only wish I could've stayed longer. The pictures are accurate, but it's nothing like being there in person, hearing the birds chirping, smelling the flowers, and feeling the sun being down on you. This place was a sanctuary for me to get away from the hustle and bustle of Florence. I enjoyed the decoarations and the flow of the farmhouse. I was able to reflect on life in peace. Bryan and his wife and their dog Muse were amazing. Bryan and his wife were very welcoming, friendly and gave recommendation for the local market. I will definately be booking tis Airbnb in the future, but for longer the next time. Grazie mille!

The view here leaves you absolutely breathless. I can’t emphasize this enough. If you are coming to Tuscany to soak in the vistas, colors and textures book this Airbnb!!! I guarantee it alone is worth booking for! The interior is really nice and cozy too. The garden is perfect. And on top of all that the service was 5 star - very attentive and helpful. We will be back if life provides the opportunity.

Séjour magique chez Paola. Difficile de décrire en quelques mots toute la gentillesse dont elle a fait preuve avec nous, on s'est tout de suite senti comme chez nous. Paola est venue nous chercher en voiture à la gare et nous a accueillis avec une bonne bouteille de vin et de la pizza - délicieuse -, difficile d'avoir une meilleure arrivée surtout après un long voyage. Elle a été très proactive tout au long de notre séjour et nous a même emmenés une demi-journée dans le Chianti pour que l'on puisse visiter un vignoble car nous n'avions pas de voiture - nous n'en revenons toujours pas de sa générosité ! Elle est aux petits soins avec tous ses invités et sa propriété est magnifique, nous avons bien profité de la piscine et l'appartement est merveilleusement bien décoré et équipé. Nous recommandons fortement de séjourner chez Paola, la meilleure hôte airbnb que nous ayons eue. Encore merci pour tout Paola, vous avez été merveilleuse, et nous rêvons déjà de revenir ! Arrivederci! :)

Ho soggiornato per 3 notti in questo fantastico posto! Appartamento pulito e conforme alla descrizione! Ottima posizione per chi vuol visitare Siena e dintorni come Pienza, Val d’Orcia ecc. Consiglio assolutamente

We LOVED outrstay here. First of all, Lorenzo was a fantastic host, communicative, available for every need, lovely to talk to. The property is incredible - a beautiful peaceful space to walk around, and some adorable cats to pet. Our favorite things about this space include: the gorgeous outdoor picnic setting for our meals, spotless kitchen with anything you need to cook, complete blackout and silence at night for a restful sleep and privacy. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to explore Tuscany, as this is a great place to stay and a reasonable drive from main Tuscan sites.

An incredible home, beautifully designed and restored. Rob and Illonka were both friendly, fun, and very caring for us. They came to help us when we had car trouble and always gave us fantastic recommendations for everything from parking lots to wonderful restaurants. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. There are plenty of towns and cities close by to visit, our favorites being Assisi, Gubbio, and Perugia. A car is a must, and this home has cylindrical stairs, so not good for anyone wobbly on their feet.
