We had a wonderful stay! The property was beautiful, exactly as pictured, clean, and thoughtfully maintained. The host was very responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out.

This property was absolutely perfect. It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband’s anniversary trip. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The dock was perfect to be able to sit and fish and just dangle your toes in the water. About 1 mile away, you are able to float right down the Shenandoah river directly back to your dock. So much wildlife! You feel so secluded in natural but yet everything is within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beautiful getaway.

We loved our stay. My family stays in a cabin each year and the views put this at the top of the list. We cooked for all of our meals and had no issue with all of the kitchen items available

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and picturesque the area was. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and surrounded by nature, it truly feels like a private retreat. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and just take in the quiet beauty around you. We loved how secluded it felt, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, private setting. We can’t wait to come back!

My partner and I stayed at Eugene’s cabin for a weekend getaway from DC, and it was exactly what we needed. The cabin is peaceful, private, and perfectly set up for a couple’s retreat. We loved the cozy atmosphere, the well-equipped kitchen and the fun selection of board games for the evenings. The jacuzzi and fireplace were highlights that made our stay even more fun! The location is fantastic, just a short drive to Shenandoah National Park, local vineyards, and the Luray Caverns. Eugene was a wonderful host! responsive, friendly, and made everything super easy from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how available he was for any questions.

My family and I loved our stay at Sherilynn’s cabin! The cabin has everything you could want and then some! It had plenty of space and everyone appreciated not having to share bedrooms or fight over bathrooms. We really enjoyed eating on the screened in porch, playing in the creek (We watched a snake eat a fish one night) and both fire pits. The cabin is a perfect base camp for adventures in Shenandoah National Park too. Sherilynn was very responsive and answered all our questions. We would definitely stay there again!

This house is very well located for enjoying Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, & Front Royal, VA. The northern most park entrance is a very short drive, & the town of Front Royal is also a short drive. The house was very comfortable for my family of eight adults and one grandchild plus dog. We convened there for a week for a family get together. You won’t be bored. Solomon has provided everything you could possibly want to have fun and relax, from the very nice outdoor hot tub, fire pit with chairs and the makings of s’mores, hammock, and corn hole game, to the downstairs game room with pool table, the extensive library, fireplaces and nice back porch with grill, table, chairs, & porch swing, etc.! The master bedroom is amazing, the downstairs bedroom is also very nice, both with en-suite bathrooms. The other two bedrooms are much smaller and share a bathroom although there is a half bath off the kitchen. It worked for us. We hated to see the week end! Would come back.

This place is awesome! It is so close to amazing trout fishing locations. The treehouse was perfect and unique.

Rustic cabin feel with the modern amenities you may need. Beautiful views, outstanding location to take advantage of hiking, water sports or just sightseeing. Culin and Danielle responded to any questions almost immediately and there was literally nothing lacking. The sauna was a nice bonus! Thoroughly enjoyed it!!

The house was amazing! It was bright and open but with plenty of seating for a group of five/six people and the chairs and couch were very comfortable. So many thoughtful touches. For example, a basket of blankets by the couch, QR code to scan for instructions for the accordian doors, and towels near the front door for the hot tub, are just a few. We all had a blast playing foosball! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and looking at the view. From the deck we saw several deer, birds, and one fox. The owners' recommendation to hike around Lake Laura was a good one. Everyone in our group enjoyed the hike. We also enjoyed dinner at Bryce Resort, which you need a reservation for, but don't have to dress up, business casual was good. The Burn Barrel restaurant was close and had a good breakfast. Thank you for sharing your house! We have many wonderful memories!

My friends and I had such a wonderful time at The Shack for my birthday! The kitchen was fully equipped, the beds were comfortable and we loved being able to cookout on the grill. We spent a lot of our time out by the bonfire and in the hot tub and also ventured out to enjoy the sunset at Muse vineyards. We would definitely book again here!!

Picard Place offered a serene getaway from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives. An opportunity to set back and relax in a beautiful area with quick access to a gorgeous lake and a wonderful resort. A highlight for me was sitting around the outdoor firepit with my wife and our friends sharing laughs and memories. Everything matched the photos, and I always love an all season room and a cushioned swing.

To Lisa, You have an amazing place surrounded by beautiful nature including a walking distance beautiful lake. It is so peaceful and quiet. We live about two hours away in Maryland and this is a great gateway for locals as well. We had an amazing Weekend. Thank you Lisa for all your help and for renting your beautiful home to us.

My husband and I absolutely loved our time in Anastasia's home. It was the perfect location for our staycation and we were able to just be. I feel in love with the efficiency of the kitchen. I HIGHLY appreciated the ability to make real tea and while also providing various really fun ways to make coffee (it's the little things). Thanks again Anastasia!

The location was great, probably the easiest one to get to in my experience. The house was extremely comfortable, and the outdoors aspect of things was great as well.

We loved this property and would definitely go back! The house had everything we needed for the weekend. It was cozy and felt like we were on the trees. That firepit and porch... the best! The weekend we went was really cold or we would have most likely walked to the nearby lake and restaurants.
